Literally everyone in the community should own a label maker , what a fucking game changer. If I had known how cheap they are I would've copped one a loooong time ago. Best 17 bucks I've ever spent.
Yes I know I still have some things to tweak like "g" in ".25 gr" , the sizing/boldness etc. This is just a rough draft. If you don't own one I strongly advise copping one.

agreed!

I got a couple of those super cheap ones and both of them stopped working after a while so I hope you have better luck than me!

Did anyone here snag one of these? Curious about these occasional kangiiten oud oil offerings!

I hope so too lol thanks bud ! How long did yours last before giving out ?
One of them I used pretty regularly over about a 6 month period. Battery no longer takes a charge and you can't run it off of an adapter. I can't figure out how to get the thing open

The other one got almost no use at all - there's something not right with the mechanism that drives the feed so the image gets compressed because it goes fast and then slow when it needs uniform speed to work properly. When I listen it sounds like there may be a couple of stripped gears because there's a little periodic grating sound in the noise of the gearbox. Could just be bad luck and it got bumped and a gear lost a tooth or something. I bought a larger format nimbot (b2 or something like that) and it has been very reliable.

I bought their updated small format printer for like 30 bucks, I hope I'm not throwing good money after bad but I need that small label format for my products and I already have so many rolls of the stickers my most economical option is to try one more time.

The new one (d11) has much higher DPI, but does not print quite as wide as the D110. 1.2cm vs 1.5

I wish it was the same width because it's hard to cram everything into my labels and that 3 mm is something I was using every bit of.

Niimbot def seems like a solid brand it's the one I got recommended. I got the latest D110 which goes up to 15mm in width along with your D11. The D101 sounds like it'll be best for you it goes up to an inch (25mm).

I think I just had bad luck with my Nimbots, hoping the two i am running now will keep on kicking. The 101 is a good size for sure, thanks for that

First of my many oud exploration package has arrived!

I’m starting off with mesOud’s Cultivated Kinam. Bear in mind this is my third oud chip I’ve ever burned, so total newbie 😅

Here’s my first thought of it:
  • Sweet, vanillic, caramelised
  • Hot cinnamon cross bun
  • Resinous rather than minty
This should last a while…
As you probably know temperature has a big effect on the notes that you experience. Some stuff really only shines at high temperature, some at low so be sure to experiment!

Sounds about right to me. I don't really get mint when heating green CK either , I get straight Cinnabon. Room temp I def get mint though as well as in the oils.

For sure, thanks for the tip! I’m also gonna try putting it on charcoal and see(smell) if it reveal a different profile

That's the way to do it. It took me longer than it should have to tune into the fact that some rank smelling woods that i hated at low temp can be amazing when pushed a bit harder. 🙂

KyaraZen's - Dreams of Ancient Palace.

I have had these for a few days and they are so good (and VERY, VERY good for the price range) that I burned like 3 or 4 the first day I got them and about the same for a couple days later lol, I have now stopped burning them as much so I dont get sick of them, but heck, I don't think I could ever get sick of this scent, but eventually you would, but these are such gorgeous sticks, they definitely have a bucket load of high quality aloeswood in them, that smells kinda like a crassna profile, but because it is from a Tang Dynasty Nerikoh recipe, I believe it is Sinensis aloeswood used.

Not op but I am using a NIIMBOT and it just links up with an app on your phone, unsure if they can connect to a pc.

YOU DA MAN, Renton!! I was hoping someone would talk about this one, there's almost nothing given about its composition, not on the product listing nor on KZ's Instagram. Its price puts it in that range of things that are "just about expensive enough" not to blind buy, especially when compared to everything else that was on offer!
