Slept poorly last night, so a jolt is required. @grandawood 's Evergreen Superior oud plus a dash of @tyson 's Royal Green Hojary+ Vanilla is doing the trick nicely.

Mellifluence here too, the scrumptious Santal de Chocolat. A faintly gourmand musky sandalwood that is as smooth as a chocolate mousse, and has zoomed to a top spot in my rotation. Surprisingly, the wear is not the best considering it has base notes of vetiver, benzoin, and two kinds of oud (Bengali and Lao). Still, it's phenomenal and I recommend it without reservation.

Interesting I heard it smells like hashish but there is oud in there technically, is the oud nuance strong?

I slathered some super sticky Spanish labdanum absolute (thicker than date molasses) on my skin and then put creamy Mysore sandalwood to make it a bit 'manageable'. This is utterly gorgeous. If you like resinous and pine like woodiness, just try it - you won't regret it. 🙂

Today I macerated Mysore Sandal 2002, Malaysian Oud (Tigerwood and Hirta) and Siberian & Tibetan Musk: I am cruel at decanting oils; so, my fingers, beard, clothes- better say the whole room- smell what I cannot name now, and I am sure won't be able to name in future. And the grains that fell into the ceramic plate, I have eaten. Tibetan grains. Musk grains macerated are more than a gram, and the oil is more than 5 ml.
So, the Scent of Tonight is just Oscent. Beauty is unbearable and mysterious. Today I wish all the respected members were here with me, and then we would have a unanimous verdict: YES, MYSTERIOUS AROMA NEVER LET MIND CONCEIVE WORDS TO REVIEW THAT.
I have no more empty glass vials; otherwise, today I would have macerated all Oud oils and Sandal in the monarch of the monarchs fragrance, MUSK. Though I never macerated Kashmiri Musk in it as Tigerwood is there to take everything to the horizons beyond human reason, and even imagination. Just soul and spirit can visualize those horizons.
