Attar/Mukhallat of the Day

tucked in with the jaya qadeem from @Habz786 that my wife ordered for my birthday was a sample of hasna (frangipani & sandalwood) attar... i believe this attar has been discussed here before but WOW, absolute love at first smell. so fresh & dignified & enchanting, i can see this being a signature scent for me. bravo to one of the dons.

AlMishal Oud - Misk Aqor

I’m getting sweetness, leather, oriental flower 🌺, Frankincense, Sandalwood, woodiness to name a few of the notes.

Smells absolutely gorgeous.

Today was a cool overcast day so i went for a skin mukh of: a dab of ASO’s Muschouli underneath a drop of TOT Tarakan. Very pleasing together with some amplified sweet camphor and an added herb & spice blend (that almost feels shamamatul-like) in the opening. I can feel the effects of both the patchouli and the musk, both feeling very much at home with the earthy smoke of tarakan, both acting as perfect little boosters to the smooth but complex nature of the oud. The boost in camphor and spice/herb opening is perfectly contrasted by the sweet earthy musk that gets a beautiful, powdery, resinous aspect along with its dry-down. Really remarkable together, so enjoyable!

Orris and frankincense CO2 are already on my mind. I just received a bright green Hojari CO2 from @Oudique but it smells more like the actual resin, just clearer. I have another CO2 that smells like orange juice, lemon peel. Maybe a combo of the two could work

Update Orris germanica butter was added, sandalwood, Jasmine grandiflorum, geranium, ruh khus. Then it was all diluted with a vanilla-civet tincture. Came out amazing, the citrusy fresh notes were extended slightly then the most sexy , oddly diffusive drydown comes. In my mind the opening and drydown should clash and be but they didn’t at all
