Nha trang zeitaku - Oudique

After comparing it next to Nha trang qinan, I can see this one has the sinensis leaning baseline profile of nha trang. It’s a good oil and I would recommend it.
I swiped it once and first impressions were amazing, I have to swipe it one more time, maybe with nha trang ultima next to it, to compare, its this good 😊
Nha Trang Zeitaku is around 100$/g & all the legendary Nha Trangs are at least 400/500$+/g (Nha Trang Ultima, Nha Trang Ltd, Grand Emperor Nha Trang, Nha Trang Ko, I have/smelled all). So considering the price/smell & experience ratio Nha Trang Zeitaku is amazing but ofcourse not on the level of the legends, its a fraction of their price. You wont get kinamic facets or a very deep/emotional experience maybe. But its definitely a superb oil for the price.
I agree with @TheOudDood , it has a sinensis leaning profile, a nice nutty/"bitter" touch & I better not talk more about it till I secure my quarter tola, Kidding 😆

I got busy and didnt have the time yet for the comparison but I will get on it tmrw

Malay Kristal - Faizal Privee

My first whiff of this felt like a punch to the nose (in a good way). The first associations that were coming to mind were pure oud resin and the kind of chocolate notes you get in good coffee. After trying to wrap my head around it for awhile, I went to look at the product page, and I basically experienced the top, middle, and base notes Faizal described all at once in the opening. With the base notes being the most prominent.

It really reminds me of a good light roast coffee: full bodied, crystal clear flavors ranging from floral and fruity to deep dark and chocolatey. There's some spices in here too. I get the crystalline green notes described, but they're always on top of that dark body.

It's starting to dry down now, and the incense is coming out.

I love Malaysian oud, and this oil has everything I love about Malaysia and oud in general. But, at the same time, I can't think of a Malay quite like this. It doesn't smell like a new oil. It's hard to believe it was disstilled last year. The closest Malay in my (very limited) experience is EO's Tigerwood 1990, but that's a different beast all together.
This one is also amazing, for the price 😜
@Ahmaoud can confirm

A complex profile & offers almost everything you would look for in a Malaysian oud oil. It is in the crystal green category as you said but also has the good oudy resinous aroma. If you enjoy such malaysian oils, you will like Habzoud Zamarrad 2 & Oudique Malay OG, each one with its unique twist

Agreed. If EO was selling that oil Zeitaku it would for sure be at least $600 per gram.

I actually have both of those oils. You inspired me to wear Zamarrad 2 tonight because it's been a couple years. This is a really nice oil. I'm enjoying the profile a lot more than I remember. I've been really enjoying greener ouds lately for some reason.

I only tried the Malay OG once, a week or so ago, and I didn't take notes or anything. Just a quick swipe while relaxing before bed. I remember it being more straight forward new gen.

While good oils, they just don't have the deep dark full throttle dense old school vibes like Malay Kristal.

Zamarad 2 is great just before bed I've been finding.

Malacc Al Naml

My dear friend @SamiterkiW very kindly sent me a sample pack of oils he plans on releasing soon. His friend is a talented distiller & Sami has formed a partnership with him to distribute his creations. Without a doubt I can confirm these oils are amazing! He has a Thai oil called Siamlou which is outstanding, right up there with Lao Xiang - TOL as the best Thai oil I’ve ever smelt, a big statement but true!

Malacc Al Naml is Malaysian Oud perfection, high grade & unique also. While exhibiting the deep green resinous Malaccensis signature, it goes into a gourmand direction with a wonderful powdery floral character. The top note is a vivid, juicy mandarin-lemon citrus, extremely bright. Shortly after this luminous opening a heavenly array of powdery florals reveal themselves in the mid, very pretty but complex. The dry down is Oudy Malaccensis resin, incense, vanilla, dates, cola, coumarin - sweet, but not cloying. The beautiful sharp, sparkling citrus notes remain until the final stages, emphasising the clean, precise nature of Malacc Al Naml.
A pretty amazing debut oil.

Not only is Sami one of the best noses/reviewers in our community, now he has a collection of outstanding Oud oils to put his name too, also. Well done sir!

YAVUZ - @mesOUD

If Vietking & Anas had a baby 🖤

Just checking this one out - it definitely fits your description! I put on just a dab yesterday - not even a dab - just a residue - and couldn't believe the delicious aromas I was experiencing.

I also feel like I am picking up on the "Mesoud signature" because there is something in this that brings his other oils to mind absolutely - some quality to the topnotes of certain richness, I don't know how to put into words.

This is clearly killer stuff though... will share some more coherent thoughts after I've had a chance to wear a decent swipe.

Completely agree , it def has Mehmet's signature. From that distinct oudy incense to the purple florals I get in both Anas & Havva.

Borneo Kinam Eo 2007.

A very powerful oil, woody, piercing and luminous. I get phases of wood heated over low heat, then some notes of raspberries and each breath tickles my nose like tiger balm.

One of my favorite Borneos, as you can't find any more today, unfortunately, except for several thousand dollars.

I don't know if this is the oil that some people compared to Fushigi Brunei but if it is, I can say that they are very different in terms of hold, strength and projection.

Nice review brother. I believe this one is compared to Fushigi Malinau, and Fushigi Brunei Kyere is compared to EO Brunei kynam.

Good to see you back at it!

It's nice to see you back!
I am (in)patiently waiting for mine to settle for a few days before I take the cap off but what I could detect from a closed cap reminded me of Anas straight away. Cannot wait to try it on skin!!

Today:
Kinabalu Gold 2 from Alhind Oud.
Such a beautiful blue green opening. Gets me every time. Then it settles to a pristine agarwood aroma. Hard to describe other than to say it's a wonderful oil. My complements to @AlHind Oud.
