I don't mind commenting as this oil is sold out
YAVUZ(Soul of LAOS)
Even though it is only 3 months old, it has turned into a real masterpiece.
Just Wow ,a kinamic bomb
I hope one day I will have the opportunity to distill such an oil again.

You inspired me to apply a dab of this oil - very interesting for sure and it is wild to think that this is a crassna - I had started to have a narrow view of the species with all the thai plantation oils I have smelled. At the moment I am enjoying a warm, soft, cedar-like woodiness. It does not literally have the smell of cedar but if you smell good Texas or Virginia cedar oil (Juniperus), it has this broad soft warm encompassing woodiness, and I feel like this is the oud version of that. I also get a sense of something that reminds me very much of Piñon pine - a very charming sweetness - really very lovely stuff and one of a kind in my stash. 🙂

Enjoy it
I think what misleads us about crassnas is that we have the wrong references.
I have already expressed my opinion about most crassna on the market.
Just now, I checked the wood of my upcoming Nha Trang distillation, I can observe the common points that both Nha Trang, Vietking and YAVUZ should have in crassna

Nepalese Oud - Mohammed AlQurashi

A clear brown full bodied Oud. I’m getting notes of wood, cherries, apple, bananas. I think I posted about this before but I’m just reading the notes now. They are loud and obvious. Beautiful Oud. Can’t believe I forgot about this one.

Wore a dab of Firdous 1 from @AlHind Oud yesterday - once again impressed by the transformation of this oil over time. I love the base / dry down of this oil - an especially appealing bouquet that brings some Borneo oils to mind. The opening is so different though from the other oils that I've smelled with this type of dry down, and I greatly enjoy the opening of this oil - has some nice roasted / phenolic qualities that I find very engaging. Such an interesting trip this oil is from top notes to dry down

At the moment I am wearing some Myitkyina Ko from @YusaAromatics - this resembles what i think of as Cambodian style crassna: sweet, a bit boozy, some dried fruit notes. Sweet and pleasant, clean smelling and free from exaggerated fermentation notes.

Thank you!

Firdous Royale is a level up.

Another insane oud oils festival tonight ..
EO Hailam LTD: NTLTD of China
EO Port Morseby: Ok at best
EO Brunei Kynam: Similar to Fushigi's
EO
Men Tien: Way better than Fushigi's, this one is amazing
EO papuya: Oriscent take on Papua
EO Hilam Kilam: Kinamic oil with oranges and tobacoo facets
EO Kyara de Kalbar: I love this one, a beautiful dry woody oil, psychedelic may I say
Fushigi Ambon: Similar to EO Purple kinam in the drydown
Fushigi Malinau: Has a distinct Pistachios note, or my nose got broken at this one Lol
JS Grand Emperor of Nha Trang: Kinamic facets, similar to JS Emperor of China V1
JS Emperor Maluku: Beautiful floral oil

These are heavy weight champions, and I spent more than 4 hours moving from one to the other, and my clothes smells like oud heaven.

Alhamdullelah!
The Papuya which one you have? original or second patch?
The original is league of its own i dare to say it erase 99% of oils for me, however profile isn't for everyone.

it is the second patch, it has a honey tone with papuan profile, beautiful but way overpriced.

@An Najwa 's "Sher Shah" is on my wrist at the moment. This is one thick, full spectrum agallocha - I am finally getting a little more attuned to the Hindi / Assam style oils - this is a beaut - hits hard, feels very traditional, any barn it has is in balance with other facets. Concentrated to the point of almost smelling "soapy" - not in a bad way - this is a characteristic I have only smelled in higher-end oils (the old Al Shareef II was the first oil where i detected the soapy quality).

Beautiful stuff!
