New England? What's up, neighbor. Dreary indeed...

Oud kambodi katheef III Alhashimi
Beats any new gen Cambodian oil , as it holds the power of nostalgia .
Very difficult to get same quality these days .
The smell of sweet dark plums with faint bitterness and a hint of cedar wood .
The Smell is close to skin and always wafting .
Lasts in average 6-8hrs .
Any ones tried his Atiq series (fiet ,Thai or the Malay)?

@Oudicine I like that oil very much. That purple fruit(plum) note is addictive and uplifting.

Interesting opening. I get the foresty refreshing green scent but it's rounded and silky.
Moist, moss covered wild honeycomb comes to my mind. Oceanic, minty.
This oil has a clean, expansive quality that I really love. And that isn't easy to come by.

Tutankhamun attar also has this kind of sweet, cooling, incense-y scent. So I think this one would be great when blended with some frankincense, clove.

It's an awesome oil from front to back. VERY wearable, great longevity, and great projection. Can't ask for more.

The projection is wonderful. I wore this a few days ago and was surprised to smell it on my skin clear into the next day.

EO Hainan 2005 (old version)
EO China Sayang
These are mind boggling oils!
I can see why people consider EO Hainan 2005 a superb oil.
It has every thing, literally all of the flavors from all oud oils, from the opening to drydown.
you will be greated with the most complex, and satisfying oud oil opening of all time, then it will moves to a furry animalic notes with red to orange hued theme, some background of the tiniest sweetness and old books leather notes, some aquatic vibes and woody base, it might even give Silani or Borneo oud oils vibes at this stage. This oil is complex to describe, not an easy ride and it is an acquired taste for sure, but once you are there, it is a game changer for you.
On the other hand, EO China Sayang is more of refined very enjoyable take on chinese oud oils, it has some notes of high grade indian oud oils, but more complex, animalics with "hot honey" and yellow florals, but of course less complex than EO Hainan 2005.
Both are great and if you got a chance to try any of them you shouldn't hesitate, for the daily use and relax China Sayang is the one, and for the more intriguing nights I'd choose Hainan 2005.

Cambodian Pursat Oil - Muzaffar Attarji

This is my flagship Oud oil that I go to when I want to re-align my senses. It’s full bodied. Has good projection, sillage, and longevity. I love the fruity blackberry top note that leads to the creamy, silky, and luxurious middle and bottom notes. I like the notes of clean dirt and stone. This Oud ticks all the boxes for me on this glorious Friday morning.

One of my first purchases … still can find very little wrong with this oil. Beautiful and complex. No offending notes.

good to know, this is a new vendor for me. I feel like I've heard of them before but I've never really checked out their stuff.

Be very careful. They sell adulterated “musk” products that are claimed to be all natural but are not. I wouldn’t touch anything with a ten foot pole that they offer but that’s just me.

Thanks for the heads up.

Kalakassi Oud - Banafa Oud

It’s a medium bodied reddish brown clear Oud. It has clean feel to it. I’m getting notes of chicken soup, rock and dirt. It’s pleasant though. They claim I’m getting factory price. This was a good buy.
Chicken soup? Very interesting. I have this sample of Indian malaccensis that smells strongly of green pepper and ginger which gives it a strong stir fry connotation.
