A moment of silence for those not able to buy Oud while they’re working in the field……

Got me some Cambodian Super from a random shop in Jeddah’s Historic District- Balad. I said bring out your best and this is what they brought out.

I asked to try a Hindi. He put a little on me but I didn’t like it as the barnyard was too strong.

Hindi SQ - Batalat Oud

Applied some and am thoroughly enjoying every minute. Has all the beauty of Hindi without the barnyard. Plums, blackberry, dirt, wood, minerals, and carrot. Very nice mood from this Oud.

Edit: has some barnyard but within my tolerance threshold.

Such a beautiful & calming profile!
A fizzy, soft citrussy & phenolic opening followed by a vanilla sweetness & sweet lemons with an aquatic background. It has calming properties & an even more beautiful drydown of oudy resin & vanilla. I feel like it got softer & more rounded up during the last weeks
Its super smooth & soft from the heart till drydown

Pure Surat Tani Oud oil - Majid Iterji

This is a lovely Southern Thai oil that opens with a strong rainwater and wood varnish scent. Sillage and projection are good but the longevity is in the middle scale. It has fruity notes. Beautiful Oud.

I've had this in my cart for a couple weeks now, ha. Is it reminiscent of frankincense at all regarding the citrus?

I like this, it is not a crazy oud or anything, but very enjoyable swipe with a good projection and transitions.

What did I just receive just in time to relax for bed, @Al Shareef Oudh ’s Rakhem! The notes aren't listed. But its slightly sweet and amberish with dried fruits. Beautiful. I am so happy and pleased! Is this is listed as a wild Oud. I get warm resinous notes and a complete woody based. I kept on preparing for something complex, as was often stated here but I get it. It clicks with me. Dare I say there's a narcotic floral aspect to it? I know its a wild Oud, but there's perfumery in here. 9/10.

Could anyone please help me understand what exactly are the NU Oud on Ensar Oud website? The descriptions give me a hint that these are blended oud oils or with some sort of infusions.

Oudique chang mai.
Pretty spot on with the online description. A fun and fruity, salty Thai. Little bit of a frangipani/tropical floral thing going on in the dry down. Also picking up on a creamy, confectioners sugar aspect. lighthearted and pleasing -will thoroughly enjoy this sample.

Edit: deep dry down twisted into a beautiful ozonic 🍋.
