Today malay ultime 🙂

My favorite from all his oils.
Nice medicinal opening (reminding me of ensars pinoy, but not as intense)
Later it turns smoky woody (this time reminding me of ensars king super)
For me the perfect transition from opening to drydown.
Sadly it is a bit expensive 🙈
And of course to mention faizal has the most beautiful bottles in the game. (Mesoud not considered because he is using artwork and not bottles 😁)

Hello, Salam Ouddicts ^^

Today I swiped two special oils …

MesOud Levent
Tabeer Oud Sultan Altamash

Levent is stunning… perfectly balanced in the incensy resinous aspect !
It is often too much incensy and sometimes more … smoky…
And sometimes it is clear and clean like crystal but we miss the delicious incensy resinous oudiness …
Levent got the best part of both and playing between the two frontiers without crossing them …
This oil is fresh but smell old…
The vanilla here is something lightly roasted with some chestnut and cocoa beans that crunches under the teeth …
Again an addicting oil with a special kind of Kinamic feeling which is a signature of Mehmet distillation… Mashallah this is a beautiful oil

Sultan Altamash is a Really really special oil …
Almost no words to describe this vintage treasure…
After falling in the deep sea of Hindi holly graal Quest, i found exactly what I was looking for …

Sultan Altamash got something similar to the old Hindi from the best days of Ensar and I am risking myself to say that …
Sultan Altamsah got a Barn which isn’t Barn … it remind me the addicting light Barn of Oud Isa without the special Borneo woodiness that Isa get, it remind me Oud Shuayb in the clean barn of a wild Lion in Zoo park …
This is smooth and soothing creamy kind of barn or Agallocha DNA Suede, light and addicting leather with a milky savory which is indescribable
A delicious and Savory Algerian Deglet Nour Dates from Sahara desert, a salted caramel butter with milky chocolate…
I am totally in love with this Hindi …
A very good performance ! This oil is rounded and aged perfectly…
One of my favorite vintage Hindi without any doubt …
Unmissable for every Traditional Hinddict 🤤

I wish you a very Gooud swipe Ouddicts 🫠
You just convinced me to get 1g of Sultan Altamash! I love Hindis and this one is sounding amazing.

Basic Kinam - EO

Almost black with a gluelike consistency - ‘the stickiest of the icky’, to steal a phrase from Dave Chapelle. Syrupy-sweet aromas of root beer and fizzy cola candy with a cooling menthol and verbena lift.

A simple and pleasant dessert oud, lacking much of a deeper resonance.

It smells similar to an inexpensive Thai oil I bought at a quarter of the price when I was in Saudi Arabia.

Now sulaym: 😃
Sultani blue
In the describtion i did not see if it is really a mix of 3 different woods or if it should just smell so.
To make it short his discribtion is straight on point 🙂
I am feeling the blue through the whole evolution.
HM Viet Royal
Very pleasant oil, smooth rounded but to be honest it reminded me more of a good laotian oil than vietnam.
Nonetheless i really enjoyed it very much 🙂

Agar Aura Angkor Royale

This one grabbed my attention as it smelt unusually ancient even from the dipstick.
The rain has just stopped and you are out for a stroll in the woods. The smell of mossy damp wood hits you. This is what the opening is like.
There’s a spicy greenish incense note that comes and goes as it transitions from top notes to heart notes.
The base is layers of dry berries, oud resin and wood.
Solid, solid oil.
The presence of the oil is very subdued and understated, unlike the others I’ve smelt from Taha.
Do u get a hint of pickled ginger when u smell it of the dip stick ,I have not smelt anything like it.

Rinsho by oudique
Pretty nice but not a love this time around. Opens with a minute or two of crude oil/diesel aromas. This quickly wisps away to a general cherry like incense. Progressively gets cleaner into the wear.
Not an overly complex oil, but still have a fair bit of sample to get through so will update thoughts if they change.

Edit: upon applying a heavier layer there's a very interesting bitter cocoa note lingering now. 👍
E2: drydown has the unmistakable aroma of chips roasting away on a burner. Great surprise.

7.25/10 so far.

Literally just put this on before you posted

Levent @mesOUD - robust, full, broad spectrum saturated super oud.

AlHind Imperial Koh. The first few times it was very meek on my skin but I've been being a little more generous with my toothpick and am now picking up on a fruity cherry note. Ever since I saw "Gummy Bears" as a descriptor once I can't help but associate that with some ouds and this one definitely has that. It has a very clear, clean profile with a gummy bear/jolly rancher backbone and maybe a tinge of cheese. I'm Mexican and for any of you who are familiar with chamoy (candied apricot-tamarind sauce applied on fruits), this one is reminding me of that.

Havva by @mesOUD a pure chip on low heat bomb from the start to finish, piercing incensey top notes, equatics purple/blue florals, exotic mango and guava laced with smoke, that unmistakeable bitter sweet silani heart note, freshly cut resinated agarwood keeps going and going.

Reminds me of some of the older Imperial Oud Silanis which were some of the best available, then and now...

Kodai Ka from Oudlab: An aged Malaysian of the past. Old school, non of that new gen stuff. Opens with a burst of vintage woodiness, zest. Then a Malaysian floral bouquet. Constantly shifting. Lasts all day. Top old school Malaysian.

Thaqeel S from Oudlab: Wild and organic south Thai oil. Smells like a purple cinnamon camphor Malaysian with cambodi backbone. It overlaps with the famous Kanbi Koh

Vayu Musk from Oudlab: strong Hindi musk bomb. Powerful. Strong. Smooth. You can smell this across a room. This is not for beginners. Great wizardry here.
