AlHind Dhahab - Habzoud

This oil is back up on the Habz website in case anyone wants it - check the forum thread!

I already posted a note about this oil, but I wanted to circle back and add how much I love what it does to clothing and fabrics - it imparts a heavy, almost diesel-tinged, oudy apricot impression to outerwear that is - if anything - stronger than when it is first applied to skin.

Sorry to reach for a wine analogy again, but It vividly reminds me of old German riesling - the kind that has been aged so long that the apricots and peaches take on a petrol note ⛽️

Hello Ouddicts

Today I swiped :

TOL Kanbi Koh
Craft Oud Sudha
Habz Al hareer
An Najwa Safeer

Kanbi Koh or better to say Candiy KO !
^^
This oil is so candied… it is sweet like honey ! I get sweet medjool dates with brown sugar and cinnamon! Dark Licorice and cherry Jam …
Kanbi Koh sharing one of the most amazing dry down ! It’s what I identify as Kinamic oudiness savory note which works like perfume … I mean it creating like an aura around you, a cloud of agarwood bubbling.
Still one of my favorite oil from Thailand

Craft Oud Sudha remind me Ensar Oud extraordinaire with a strong resinous base and diesel additiona is so well balanced it is an addicting oil… remind me lightly Oud Shuayb in terms of barn equilibrium…
I put it just under Al hind Dhahab
I love this oil a lot ! I don’t know why I am more and more falling deeply in love
With Hindi oils since few months … it is becoming my favorite region ! Agallocha got something special …

Habz Hareer is so well balanced it is an addicting oil… remind me lightly Oud Shuayb in terms of barn equilibrium…

Craft Oud Sudha remind me Ensar Oud extraordinaire with a strong resinous base and diesel additional notes, camphor and light incense with kind of Licorice … nice oil ! Need to study this Cambodian oil !

An Najwa Safeer is the perfect balance between the Sandalwoodish Hindi, the traditional smooth barn Hindi and the new gen clean anis seed Hindi …
I true love !!

Aru Naga is in same league but with more smooth barn and less part of clean new gen Hindi it a mix of traditional hindi and sandalwoodish hindi ! A very very nice oil also !

I wish you all a very Gooud swipes of the day 🙂

Oud Safeer from @An Najwa on my wrist - i've been meaning to return to this one for a while. This one is from Assam and has that classic agallocha aroma and is very enjoyable and balanced - manuka, oud resin, hay, earth, kind of a creamy or silky aroma, somehow.

I don't completely understand where the boundary lies between clean and unclean Hindis, although I have seen examples of the extremes, but feels on the clean side to me, though I think I can smell some fermentation notes. The agrestic vibe is there though, and I think someone who had not experienced oud before would not consider it a "clean" scent - it is clean and contrast with some of the more challenging Hindis I have smelled that had iodine, bandaid, manure notes and so on. It's hard for me to talk with confidence about the Hindi profile because it's not one that I have worn as extensively but I think this is an excellent oil and worth adding to your collection.

That's TWO for Oud Safeer from @An Najwa. I often see mentions of oil from An Najwa but most of them including this one are not listed on his website or in the artist section here? Where do I find them? Oud Safeer sounds right up my alley.

Hi brother, thank you for your kind words… from you it’s even more a compliment sincerely…
I remember back in 2018 I was reading your reviews and I always considered you as a major Oudhead here in Ouddict !
Your humble nose is à library himself 😅
I also love the way you can defending an oil without any hype just because you like it and don’t care about being in minority…

Thanks again for your words bro I am humbled 😇

Well, you are welcome. 🙂 Thanks for the kind words and good reviews.

Send @An Najwa a PM to check the availability of Safeer and Omar II. That’s how I ordered mine from him just a couple of weeks back.

Once again, thank you it’s:

I think the oils aren't quite ready for release, that's where I'm at fault. Similarly with some of his attars which were mentioned before posts were made on his subforum. But ManillaDawn is right, a dm and maybe a short conversation on your preferences in oils and the oud shall be yours!
Brother @SamiterkiW asked me earlier if i had any Aljannah series oils left i told him i gave my last bit away, thats what you have brother. I rather someone used it than it just sat there. Im trying to sort out another clean Hindi oil but it wont be a little while yet!
Brother Olfactory Nomad is the best example of someone who enjoys his ouds, a constant reminder for me, a remedy to my oil hoarding tendencies. No doubt it'll be used, but not only that, experienced and well loved! 🙂
Once again, thank you it’s:
Speaking of which, look at the dent you've made in that bottle Joe! 🔥

This makes me happy.

Oud Royale 2: Philipines - EO

the best fili oil ive ever smelled. the bar of Leyte oils probably.
Hello glad you are enjoying it .
Have you tried Leyte from mesoud and how does it compare?
I haven't had the honors of trying oriscent oils just yet ,as I think the price and olfactory curve are way above the meeting point if u know what I mean .
I am afraid of spending the price tag of oriscent oils and It will be underwhelming.

I purchased a couple Oriscent offerings and they didn’t disappoint even at their price. For me these are special event oils - weddings, family reunions, anniversaries.

It’s nice to hug family and know they are probably going “wow what is THAT” - of course I secretly hope they will ask. There is nobody more evangelical than the recently converted 🙂

Ensar's Tigerwood 1990.
The scent just smelling this from the bottle has changed in the last few years. It always had (to me) a very medicinal opening note but that seems to have changed.
This is thirty five years old now and it has a lovely green, incense y opening. Dark wood notes pop in and out. I even get that lovely petrol y note which I love.. It brings me into a holy space with those meditative smells.

Hello Salam Ouddicts 🙂

Today I swiped :

Al Hind Lao gold 2
MesOud Begum OG
Habz Borneo King
Habz Borneo Ateeq
AA Kham Lao

Lao Gold 2 start with the highest notes you can find in Sinensis oil !
Think about Pear nectar cocktail with apple juice, lemon slice and linden honey…
You are drinking this fruit juice in a beautiful flowers garden during Spring !
Lilac, Lilly of the valley, violet flower …

Then you should thinking about Kinamic medicinal bitterness but so sweet …
The sweet honey/flower quality in this oil is insane .
It’s like cold juice drink with ice cube in a warm atmosphere…
This oil got exactly what you are looking for in the best Cultivated kinam oil but with depth and complexity…
I didn’t payed attention to this oil first but I need to save some of it cuz it is one of the best new gen lao oil I tried …
Better than Taha’s lao gold one …
A side by side with Kham lao came in my mind …

AA Kham lao is a nectar of pear with powdery pollen mixed in honey lavender with hay all around you !
Cinnamon and light clean incense with a loud bitterness…
Falling in one of my favorite dry down of oudiness which is the special Hoi an flavor addicting aroma !

Habz Borneo King is Clean vintage Borneo oil of old days…
It is the closest oil I’ve smelled to OG Borneo 3000 …
This aroma I never found again in any oils available nowadays…
Hard to describe…
The best Woodiness powdery of Wood Carpenter room …
It is king of sweet bitter metallic vibe with resinous Vanilla, golden vetiver sandalwoodish vibe in an earthy sweetness and sharing Borneo / Malinau / Sri Lanka / INDO / Papuan region …
Probably the best Oil I tried from Brother Habz and one of the best Borneo oil I tried after Borneo 3000 and AA Royal Malinau .

Borneo Ateeq is the little sister of Borneo King from Habz …
Think about sweet vanilla , brown sugar with honeyed golden vetiver, citrusy and bergamot, lemon tart melted in light dry woodiness…
Such a lovely oil !

MesOud Begum OG is the Pinnacle of Oud & Rose Love story …
You really have to forgetting everything you think knowing about this marriage …
I thought I didn’t liked Oud + Rose … Even if I love both separately so much I always thought this wedding isn’t for me …
Like Mehmet said, this is not A+B= AB…
It’s A+B= C razy ^^
The top notes are fabulous … you think it’s the best rose you smelled before but it’s not only rose … it’s a melted perfume of all the different compounds you find in Rose essential oil and clean new gen Agallocha essential oil…

Think about licorice and lychee with vanilla whiskey woody barrels, lots of kinds of lemon notes, Iris and oleanders flower…
Then you get a Watery rose effect with an ethereal scent like a medicinal aura and after each hours of drying down you get more and more Oudiness with all the agallocha assamese quality until smelling what I love so much in Al janah or jinkoh lokma for example…
Clean anis stars, licorice, vanilla, cinnamon kind of Kinamic notes …
I am passionate about the Fist Batch of Begum , and Begum OG has Begun to consume me deeply! ^^

I wish you all a very Gooud Swipe Ouddicts ^^

I have not tried leyte from Mes to compare but I have Anas from him and it is spectacular. If you can get Leyte or Levant? from him then go for it, I would wager it is also a superb oil.

IO Nha Trang Ultima

Had a couple of vials with remnants of NHU after transferring it all to a 4-gram Vial, and of course, my OCD wouldn't allow it. Scooped all of it out and pulled the last bits with alcohol and poured it on my neck. I'm engulfed in a beautiful NHU bubble. Today, I'm getting a strong "wooden bark" element that I don't remember picking up before. It reminds me of the same facet I find in Kyara Koutan. A beautiful way to end the day.
