I love this one! I get raisins and plums. And woody wetness. Did you get the wood with it too? It was a promotion he was running. I think he gave away 2 grms of agar that he distilled the Rakheem from.
Unfortunately I missed the wood deal. Very happy with the oil though!

Pailin Atiq - Al Hashimi

Red fruit, spices, and salty. It fits right into the classic manaban profile that I wanted. Smells almost stew like.

Al Hashimi had some problems during the recent sale. I imagine it was due to the unbelievable amount of demand they received. My main issue I had trouble with was the labels on my bottle of Fiet Atiq and Pailin Atiq being seemingly swapped. It kinda seems like this may have happened to another on this forum.

Otherwise, very lovely and exactly as described. I never would have thought that the more salty aspects of cambodi's would be so addictive. Al Hashimi came highly recommended for this style and I would second such reviews.

It's a perfume on its own right ,very complex I do get the salty aspect you are talking about .It starts sweet salty slightly woody and then becomes Cambodian wood on low heat as it dry down . Very addictive doesn't strike me as a Cambodian oil.

@mesOUD Trangquil Nha Trang Crassna is my oud of the moment. Thanks to Mehmet I have a grasp of what wild crassna is about - with this, Viet King and Soul or Laos, I see a clear common thread and I understand better why people like/ collect crassna oud. as I have probably mentioned, the plantation oils just have not been rubbing me the right way of late.I'm not having an easy time teasing out the individual notes... I get a hint of tobacco, a rich and sweet woodiness, a bit of vanillin, a kind of classic incense-type presence as well. I would love to do a side by side with these three wild crassnas some day.

One thing that is a little surprising is that I was expecting a stronger "terroir" to Nha Trang simply because this region has received so much discussion and I've never really sampled many oils from there - I wasn't really sure what to expect. I actually find it reassuring and a sign of authenticity and quality that the three crassna oils from Mehmet are aromatic cousins. This is 100% what I would expect if wood from the same species from the same general geographic region was distilled using similar methods, and as I see it another sign of the integrity of Mehmet's endeavors and the "specimen quality" of his materials.

It's a blue kind of day, Sultani Blue that is. I unabashedly declare myself to be a big fan of @SULAYM. I've only talked to Ahmed a few times, but he's a genuinely good person. As for the products, the scents are beautiful, complex, and intriguing. And they last for a long time. All of these speak to quality and care, and so I will continue to support this store. I recommend @SULAYM highly.

The Sultani Blue is intriguing. I am putting it on for the first time and enjoying it as it evolves on my skin.

Hello Ouddicts 🙂
I hope you are all well ^^

Today I swiped :
Fushigi Hainan
Fushigi Malinau
IO Hainan Ultima

Fushigi Hainan opening is very very close to thé Nha trang Fushigi and Nha trang Ltd … bitter médicinal acidic kind of soaked smell or metallic taste …
I like this oil because there is something wired that I like …
The very first time I smelled this, was in NTLTD…
I don’t know if I like it because of that or if it’s because I like but objectively it doesn’t smell « beautiful » but very interesting… it is quite meditative but some friends inexperienced in Oud says « it almost smell kind of vomit , but still clean »
I don’t smell this but I definitely smell kind of soaking and it definitely not smell like usual sinensis or Hainanensis woods …
Anyway I like this oil !

Hainan Ultima smell much more like what I use to smell in Chinese agarwood and even Laos reminder !
This oil got a splendid evolving and this is one of the rare Chinese oil I found complex with deepness… others recent ones are quite flat or very Kinamic …
I really love this oil more each time I swipe it …

Fushigi Malinau is really different than Other Fushigi Borneo oils …
It is like it was distilled by another Artist …
I get woody vanilla without any old book, no cola , I get Pineapple, And a kind of palo Santo with florals and raspberry…
Very nice one without the Oriscent signature
I like it a lot

I wish you all a very Gooud swipe Ouddicts 🙂

EO Royal Kinam 2.0
This is the best Chinese oud I had the pleasure to own. The resemblance with Fushigi Hainan is not more than 50% for the most optimistic nose, for me they are different oils, and I'd take RK 2.0 anytime, anyday. There is this cool sweetness that is not presented in any oil I tried before, even no wood reminded me of this unique cold pepper sweetness. An earthy green drydown like no other oil. At the end, This is a Mythical oil.

I have the first edition of the Royal Kinam - definitely a tasty sinensis! I imagine version two has many of its attributes!

It's been almost 18hrs since I applied TrangQuil and I can still faintly smell it from the back of my hand
Same here and it stayed +16 hours on my wrist even after 2 wudus.
That is one of differences of true incense grade material brother, sure that is not the only difference.
Even you smell an oil distilled from shavings of that woods as called “İncense grade” at first look their scent profile will look some same ,but complexity, duration, the notes will become in time, layers they have are different.
And that is something which everyone cant understand with a quick sniff
