I would say Night. That one I think would appeal to oud fans. It has the animalic, along with this beautiful complexity. After that, I would say Moon. Dawn is great, but I still can't understand why the price is the way it is.

Some of you may remember that I posted about this "new" shop on Amazon that claims to sell Kyara. Given that it's Amazon and I could return easily, I bought several things. The wood pieces came in, and it really is Kyara (probably green). And then the oil came today. I paid $85 for 2g. I'm still perplexed because even for low quality agarwood, this seems reasonably cheap. I tried it, and it does smell like Kyara, and quite pleasant. None of the Kyara oils I have linger on my skin for more than 6 hours, and their scents tend to be lighter, more subtle. And this new oil is very similar to them. So, whatever it is, it's not bad lol

It is important to make the distinction that the beads and oil you've received is cultivated kynam (CK) not wild kynam (Kyara). What you have smells nothing like real kynam. I'm not trying to take away from you the fact that it has a nice aroma or that you yourself find it pleasant. It's just that there are very big differences between what you have and the real deal. CK products like this are going to become more and more common as time goes on and the price will reflect that..If you're happy with it though it sounds like a good score.🙂👍

Agree. I don’t think they claim that this is will agarwood. And for everyday use, I am OK with it. It isn’t going to prevent me from going for the real stuff, such as from @SULAYM and @An Agarwood. I love Hina (KyaraShrine), but most of her stuff is also CK.

KyaraShrine's Borneo Agarwood Oil - it's a blend of CK and wild. It's quite lovely with this blend of spicy and sweet, light and aggressive. It's quite long lasting. It's my favorite from Hina.

I'm wearing a Hindi. Mmmhmmm. Complex and fermented goodness.

I have never tried any Hindi oud oil. I will need to correct that.

Fingers crossed, but I may be going to Sri Lanka for work in February. If I am going, clearly I will be agarwood shopping, among other things!

What a beautiful attar... My first impression of this attar was eye-opening in the best kind of way. Unlike any other attar in my collection. After spending more time wearing it, my love for Elysium has only grown. It is difficult really adding anything to the perfectly on-point description provided on the product page, but I will mention someone else's reference I had seen in another post to bubble gum, although we are talking artisanal bubble gum here 😋

True story, my wife is not a fan of 95% of my collection. It's like every day I can pretty much expect a complaint at some point 🤣 A couple nights ago we were getting ready for our evening walk and I put a very tiny dot on the back of my hand and dabbed to my beard. I mean like a pin-point amount of oil lol. Almost immediately she said "mmm, what is that one? That is the only oil you are allowed to wear". We were both smelling it during the entirety of our walk and for the first time that I can remember, she was actually trying to get wafts of it and mentioned it more than once.

Needless to say, this is a crowd-pleaser of an attar. Projection is great, and the lasting power of the beautiful ambery, oudy, incense dry-down is amazing. I smell traces of it going well into the next day.

Shipping was fast, the vials were well packed, and I am a big fan of these "bullet vials" as Ahmed calls them. They seal extremely well, and have a way of showcasing the oils in the way the label is placed below where the oil sits.

TrangQuil is probably one of the most Complex oil I tried and the deepness is crazy .

This is an addicting oil, there is something very strange inside …

I've worn this twice and I am also lost for words. I will wear again on the weekend and see if I can articulate the experience but really, (my) words don't do this justice.
