EO Aroha Kush

Smells like candy and then citrusy fruits
almost gourmand and makes me wonder
is this oud?

But in a short while the oudiness and wood appear
so it’s definitely oud.

There’s also something herbal about it.

Not a loud oil, but the notes are clean and delicious.

This oil is a stark contrast to the old funky Cambodis that were over-soaked and cheaply produced. But that’s not to take away anything from the Killer Cambodis of the past:Cooler:

Second swipe.....
IO Super Hoi an
still showing a variety of facets
that’s points for complexity
nice to see how it evolves through the years

Minutes later, I layered some Kashmiri Musk maceration. I’m in uncharted territory right now.
If a store bought perfume could smell like this....
it would blow your mind😕

Update:
hours later, the musk maceration fades as the Hoi an re-emerges. What a champ:clapping::clapping:

That’s a great combination right there. I also find ambrette seed really harmonizes nicely with the hoi an.

Three swipes

I wonder how the aroma is so concentrated, I wish all oud was this potent.

EO Aroha Kush
Weak scent but I am
liking the profile very much,
might have to get a spare

Then I swiped a Siberian musk/ambergris/ sandalwood maceration, so when I smell it, then smell the oud oils, I send confusion to my brain:Roflmao:

Hams (ASO) gifted by my very dear friend.

Well, the strength and vibrancy of the scent is equally proportional to its price $300. Weak, or better say light.

First I thought it is an organic as the scent was unripe, shallow and watery. Beachy nuance and sweet mild cola tone favour its being Malaysian. More crassana and trat like.

It can be a nice choice for blends, (though it seems to be a blend of low toned mild velvety florals minus divine sweetness) and musk maceration.

It authenticates the view that low priced are inclined towards low scent. But Fajr though was organic and low priced was worth wearing. But to some that was average. Subjectivity rules!

Incense, pepper and vanilla sitting on a somewhat Malinau profile.
There’s a caloric oudiness, then it develops a mineral note and a little floral sweetness.
