A little musk should influence a perfume, but what when you put one third bottle of Kashmiri and Siberian grains, then two thirds Malaysian oud?

At first, the musk encapsulates the oud in a creamy bubble, then the spicy florals shine, next, the wood comes out with a bitter oudiness, then after that, the primal animal emeges.

Yesterday, when I swiped my Malaysian Musk oud, and then after enjoying it till drydown, I proceeded to go to work (my job), and forgot all about the swipe, had even washed my hands already. So while at work, hours later, I brought my hand up to my nose for a sniff, which is a habit by the way, being an ouddict, I just do that wether I swiped or not. Anyhow, I was shockingly surprised by the strong wonderful aroma that was left behind from the swipe. Musk equals magic:Cooler:

Earlier toay....
Habzoud Hisan (not yet released)

A Hindi oil (Meghalaya)
Opens semi-tart with berries and wildflowers, there is also a very tame barn,
then by the heart phase the loudness tones down a little, while the oudiness comes out more.
Towards drydown add a touch of buttered popcorn and honey.
The behavior of this oil is very mature, a smooth gradual change from beginning to end.

After trying a sample of this oil, I knew I had to have it. At first I thought I picked up a Bangladesh vibe, and then I even thought it could be like Mukhmil, or even Semkhor (which has some Manipur). But all-in-all I think this is a fine Hindi.

Right now.......
Two Cambodis
EO Aroha Kush
and
Habzoud Muhib (unreleased)

The Muhib is a very nice concentrated (aroma) oil, with a flair that I find in IO Fragrant Harbor. So many crossover facets with recent new generation Cambodis from Vendors such as Agar Aura, Ensar Oud, and Imperial Oud.
But my cheapie oud Aroha Kush is holding it’s ground against Muhib albeit the Aroha Kush is weaker, but I’ve grown fond of this oil.
I believe that Muhib has that “mind buzz” mentioned by Taha, in regards to oils juiced from higher grade woods.

No doubt. Still Musk and Ceylon Oud with a slight touch of some floral is to be experienced. At least, I put aside the Malaysian Musk magic, and jumped into Ceylon Floral Musk magic.

The Ceylon Musk Magic has just been created:
[Ouddict.com] Oud of the Day

For this blend it is mostly Feel Oud Sri Lankan Artisan, with a little IO Sinharaja, Ulugbek’s musk grains, and 3 drops of Ulugbek’s Turkish Rose.

The Sri Lankan Artisan is fairly viscous, so the first test swipe will be 6 months from now.

Meanwhile, I have a swipe of each Sri Lankan oil used in this blend. What a great way to start the day:Thumbsup:

Would love to know too please.
I believe you are referring to Oud Hindi mentioned by Respected Rai Munir and Wakaas.
There has been no reply yet........hint.......hint:Cooler:

Here is the quote:
Oud Hindi: Bombastic! A cleanest, smoothest, and deepest blanketing oudy fragrance.

Hurray! Though my experience was with Kashmiri musk and Jasmine.

I cannot spare anymore Kashmiri grains for blends,
the amount I have left is reserved for sniffing raw grains, and I do not have any good Jasmine.

But no doubt the results will still be fantastic, I did a layering, and the smell was nice.

Did you feel how elevating is the note 'Walla Musk'? Walla Patta top pungent note is metamorphosed into Musk Walla note that is one of those notes that I had never experienced in any oil.

There was quite a bit of rose in the layering, so the rose dominated.
I will eagerly await the melding of ingredients to experience the “Walla Musk”.

Hello Fahad!

I have a swipe of IO Nha Trang Ultima on my index finger knuckle and EO Nha Trang Ltd on my first finger knuckle so that I can easily go back and forth to enjoy and compare. These are my impressions. Both oils are superb with scent profiles I greatly enjoy. NT Ltd is a long time known grade and quality benchmark. NT Ltd is also more than 2x the cost of NTU.
Both oils are pristine clean, kinamic, mildly bittersweet/ medicinal with light floral and vanillic aspects. They strike me as having a somewhat similar style or signature with the prominent kinamic aspects—although I’m challenged to describe kinamic color here. NTU is more honeyed and creamy. I wonder if the oil is blend of Sinensis and Crassna species? NT Ltd is more focused and piercing with a slight more bite in the medicinal/ bittersweet notes and a hint of nuttiness in the opening.
Both dry downs are fairly linear with NT Ltd declining in power somewhat more rapidly. With NT Ltd I smell the connection to Royal Guallam, another fine EO Vietnamese oil. NTU has parallels with IO’s Royal Nha Trang.

I’m fortunate to have these fine oils to enjoy. My hat is off to IO for acquiring several higher tier oud oils to offer their customers who crave and appreciate them. EO has long been the artisinal oud oil leader with a mind boggling array of oils, including a back stock of uber quality and limited oils.
Hi Martin, would you say that NTU has the same spycho affect as NT LTD are they both strong medicines😉

EO Oud Extroidinaire - first impression? It's VERY sweet. I get an almost Zara Zen Manischewitz grape juice vibe from it. Almost like no top notes, just heart and base. No real umph. IDK - I want to be impressed because I just spent money on it, but to me, this just smells too sweet. I wish I had bought a gram of Borneo 3k instead.

PS. Some veterans here - how would you handle an oils that is so thick it doesn't even move in the bottle. I dabbed some on my arm and blotted it around to spread, but I get the sense that a lot of aroma is being trapped or wasted because it cannot "breathe". How silly would it be to drop a bit of Vodka on my arm to thin out the oil a bit?
Not buy to begin with! Not into when waxed and lipids and all distilled... partially kidding aside, perfumers alcohol dilution.
