Hi Martin, would you say that NTU has the same spycho affect as NT LTD are they both strong medicines😉
NTU is lovely but no where near the ltd. In anything. Buzz. Vibrations. Scent. Longevity. And I must say scent again for this is a scent of wood and oil from by gone eras. Find me one Vietnam wood on market at any price under $70 - gram that has that old growth red deep mineral kinam studded profile. Impossible wood to find. I have made 6 purchases for one to turn out as real deal. Stick to Kz or Japanese houses for your fix.

What's new or unique in upcoming oils, dear Rasoul? Different from generation oils released last year?

If you have reviewed that last day, I will consult that. Thanks
That blonde tobacco, blend of Chinese/Vietnam with Hindi in Burmese oils is a beautiful note. Very satisfying.

Actually imperial has another great Burmese oil too that is even more medicinal and bitter than konbaung. I wana say it was called burma imperial. Not burma citron though. That one is more avant- grade and fraction-y to my nose and experience.

that one is Burma Imperiale which reminds me of fragrant harbour imperiale both have a similar style and an extra e.😀

It's evening here, and I wore Borneo, Chinese and Cambodi Ouds.

Clean Cambodi, cosy Chinese and airy spicy earthy Borneo. I know the dry-down will be Camborneo. Complexity is at its peak.

What else can be more fascinating than experiencing new and novel aroma. Thrill lies in knowing something unknown.

East or West/ Layering is the Best:Roflmao:!

Greetings Mr. Musk Man 🙂,

Zenesis is an oil from our welcomed new vendor, OudBase. Click the link to see the oil and also his other listings. I'm not usually a big fan of Hindi style oils, but this one is totally different than anything I've tried in the past. This one is almost creamy. Very woodsy but with an obvious soaked Hindi backbone. No powder or anything like that. Just a calming, non-aggressive, and red (I think this is the right color), Hindi. Barn but not in the typical way - almost an undertone that blends everything together, but not really barn, just a fermented/yeast/bread tone that brings everything home. "Sinensis and concluding in Agallocha" - according to the listing. So I believe it's a co-distillation. Almost a Chinese/Hindi mashup. Really pleasant and handsome - you could wear this to something formal or at home while relaxing. It has a confidence about it....

The owner of OudBase was kind enough to include a sample of his other Hindi - called Funk Meister. Now this one is a totally "unapologetic Hindi" - I totally agree with his description. Really fantastic for those days when I need a "reference" Hindi oil to compare something to. Not my exact cup of tea, but if you LOVE Hindi oils and want something a little less expensive for daily wear, at $110 for 2.5ml, you can't beat this quality/price. My order from him was for the 50G of cultivated Hindi style wood, which has also been a pleasure to burn. Highly recommended vendor - can't say enough good things about this company and the communication/service/products/quality.

@Rasoul Salehi
Do you remember Oud Zakariyya, a Burmese? I am scared of that sort of oil. Even the word Burmese has become a nightmare for me. But that was a famous oil.

Did you feel similarities in Kyara LTD and Kounbaung?
Yeah no similarities in either of the above duo. Kyara ltd 2.0 is red nha trang Vietnam, old sick cambodi like we don’t see anymore and old wild hainan. Wood that basically I have not seen anywhere outside of a rare offer only once via KZ and via Japanese houses.
Zachariya is a very barny oil. Is a technique oil first, origin second.

more elegant, I would defer to respected Rasoul but for me Zachyrriya is not in the same room as Burma Imperiale (maybe even in a different street).
Yup. Zero similarity. Burma imperiale has a bit of a senkoh/gen 4 vibe. High pitched, clean, pristine and some feeling of avant- Garde to it. I love studying it and objectively speaking is a very good to great oil. Subjectively speaking once I am done studying it, I don’t crave its profile and don’t enjoy wearing it as a scent.

Oud Ehab - in taking this out for another spin today, I attempted to dip a plastic toothpick thing into the bottle. As I removed the glass dipper and dipped the plastic in, I realized my plastic tool accidentally picked up about 6 swipes worth! Lesson learned. Having a VERY good session with this one lol - in case anyone has some questions about, I should be able to answer them now by EOD.
