Layered that with Siberian Summer - ALD ... it amazes me how close Russian Adam came to creating a scent with synthetic which feels like real Siberian deer Musk... that I feel is talent

Super hoi Ann - this is fabulous, especially because the label covers the oil so when I went to swipe today, my applicator (a zip tie which is great btw bc it has those little ridges on the end!) wound up taking wayyyy more than I would normally swipe. I had previously poo poo'd this oil when chatting with Jay - saying it wasn't strong enough/too light a scent. Not the case any longer! I think I learned something today too - swipe more than you think you need, especially if you are someone like me who is always worried about running out or finishing a bottle. You only live once! Plus there is definitely a curve of effectiveness. Too little and you actually won't smell all the oil has to offer. Too much and you are wasting oil. I fell on the former of this spectrum. As for notes, I get a candied incense vibe - very grounded with cooking spices, chai tea, somewhere between blue and red, some chocolate maybe. Fabulous oil!

sharp and powdery, resinous,
with some oudy woody.

I’m not getting a lot of auxiliary notes,
just steady notes from top to bottom,
which is likely all oleoresin
