Some people I've spoken to claim that the malaccensis/agallocha in India is different from the rest lol but the difference is too subtle so they just classified it as the same species

A malinau sample from a pack I got from a friend. I love this kinda profile. Truly! What it lacks in manly umph and incensyness. It makes up for in long lasting and depth. This dry down is what the air in heaven smells like I'm certain of that.

I haven't heard in Laos, more Indian teaching distillation technics. But I don't know all who told you so maybe right brother.

From an area to the other, Malaccensis will have slight differences according to botanists : fruit colour, leaves touch. One thing they have in common : they are tall !

I received a special sample from @Habz786 of Sultan. Upon wearing it a couple times I immediately begged for a gram. @Habz786 so generously sold me a gram of this marvelous oil. I am admittedly a noob, but this oil is everything I could ask for. It has a thick resinous incense like character. It has a mineral note in the dry down I just adore. Its absolutely stunning. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I am working my way through an EO sampler—over the coming days I hope to post some more of my daily wearings if I could only not wear Sultan for just one day!
