Always wowed by how hard this one hits. Then I think to myself I should wear it more often. Next day I often overlook it and choose a classic such as Tigerwood Royale (or any of the 3 TWs from EO)... too many that I feel I neglect some of my oud unfortunately. Off traveling for a while though so I’ve limited myself to only a few ouds... will miss the rest 🙁

Woke up this morning and ASO Yunnan had dried down on my left wrist from the night before, and I discovered something very interesting: At this late-stage dry down, Yunnan smells exactly like IO Sinensis III. Dark Molasses.

I don’t have any other Burma oils that I can recall right now. My experiences with oud are still rather limited... some damn expensive stuff lol

Ensar - Archinam. Fantastic oil, spicy, green - is it a Marouke?
I wish they didn't remove the product description pages once sold out - SUCH an annoying practice!!

Also Yunan Imperiale by Imperial Oud - great! Chinese oils are hit/miss for me, not too keen on it intially but it settles down gorgeously

Malindang Phillipino Oud by IO

Oud incense clouds and Oud waves! The lot includes Malindang by IO has proved itself to be spectacular. And Noir Velours has got oxidized, but not stinky. Now its smoothness is enjoyable.

ASO AL Ruba'ie II on the beard and the wrist. A wonderful combination of smooth, velvet chocaltey notes (which I associate with Hindi dry-down) along with the green, tart, sweet and smoky facets interlaced.

Sorry been busy family, work and more importantly supporting people now with food packs, medicine etc. Habzoud operations are pushed back on the priority list, once things settle there will be new releases
