Last night I was able to do a swipe of Nha Trang Ltd. thanks to @Jeff Wilson . I can say without reservation this would be a “benchmark” Oud. It has a very nice blend of (what I understand is) Kinam notes that include sour creamy condensed milk, earth/root, and that slight minty smell that I have only smelled in Agar Auras Special K oils and in slight whiffs in some other high quality oils. It lasts and lasts and has a strong effect of extreme elation and grounding. Super happy to have a little bit of this in my collection. Going to be tough to keep my hands off it.

... This oil had a level up. Opening got denser, with plenty of mintiness shooting out. Wet roots underneath.

I had to jump on here and tell about tonight’s swipe. Agar Aura Wanmei. This is everything I could want in Oud. It’s marvelous. An utter jaw dropper. If this is what black Kyara smells like, call me a black Kyara fiend! Stunning. Powerful. Dark earth, root, mint, subtle hint of anise. I thought it would be hard to put anything up against previous nights Nha Trang Ltd., but this stands tall next to it. Depending on personal preference, maybe......well I’m not going there just yet. Wow wow wow.

Unrelated: I read some distiller's promotion saying that his oud if funky to make it interesting because otherwise it would be boring. I'm fine with a challenging oil, but I've been loaded up with no-funk oils that are VERY intriguing; no funk required.
