Thursday: Lao 4k
Friday morning: Pursat 4k
Friday night: Phan Fa. To my nose, this is the most enjoyable so far. Lao 4K has a lot to offer as well, but i want to give it more time. Could be a stunner, with what it offers so far, while still so young. "ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!" LOL! If you know AA oils, sometimes they need a lil' age, then they smell sublime.

Opening - definitely frosty Malay green cola bit of steely note(is this because of freshness?) Or medicinal mineral jungle vibe (something like top end NGP) Surely has purple florals and may be blue florals ... today the opening feels cross breed of Malay + NGP

1 hour in - now this oil has a Bhamo feel to it very Burmese where this is herbal, resinous, hint of hay, woody with a bit of purple/blue florals still doing its thing on greenish incense back drop...

Good 2 to 3 hours in now I get what the fuss about 4K .... the Kinamic whiffs bitter, creamy milky note, honeyed, cinammon,

greenish bluish purple toned Kinamic whiffs wow jst wow ...

M is very green, jungly and lush. This is fantastic
The unnamed is a stunner, VERY deep - smells Malaysian to me but was told that it isn't. Fizzy, dense green/brown/black in profile and strong too

One of the sleepers of the year for sure. It's a Borneo oil - just not a Borneo like b3k. A green Borneo - and from cultivated wood! But lasts forever on skin and the ultimate for a green refreshing but still deep incense green. I like this one for summer in the beard and behind the ears. Vetiver comes to mind. Also this is masculinity in a bottle.

Just got a package from Feel Oud. Ateeq Jamil & Shaikh Taher.
Ateeq Jamil is, honestly, a solid Trat. It's not mindblowing so far, but it's darn good for the price. No vices, compares favorably to EO Kusuma. Kusuma got real peppery on me, but this does not.
Shaikh Taher is...whoa. Has anyone else bought this? It's hard to describe. Opens very bright like someone ringing a handbell right behind your sinuses. I have no comparison. This is why I love oudh. Always new surprises.

I haven't really felt like wearing oud much lately. Today I put on a swipe of Royal Sumatra and wow! This reminds me why I love oud. A good oud puts me at peace. It's not just a smell but an experience. A mood and mind shift. I needed this today.
