EO Aroha Kyaku on right wrist + Taj Oud M198 on the left followed by a little dab of musk and sandalwood on the inner arm.

Legendary oil this Aroha kyaku. Best value oil, you won't find this value anywhere. If you can get past the wet cigarette smoky opening then what lies of you after is hours upon hours of resiny Oudy fragrance that will put high end oils to shame.

Al Hashimi - Khmer(2020 Wild Koh Kong, Cambodia)

Khmer has transparent yellowish-green color and olive oil like viscosity. it makes me expect the scent to be top-note heavy oil.

Smelling from the skin, Khmer gives off rich notes of fresh green banana and a juicy mango leaf wafting from a pristine tropical jungle.
Khmer immediately uplifts the mood right upon swipe with its refreshing xylitol-like cool sweet fragrance. The word 'sweet' does not justify the fine nuances of this complex fragrance. Unlike other tooty fruity Cambodian oils I experienced, it projects gently without being too cocky.

About 5 to 10 minutes after, zesty lemon, lime notes come out and play with the green sweetness then two facets slowly converge into one. the citrusy facet is a relatively more prominent though.

About 30 minutes after, sandalwood-like buttery creaminess kicks in that you'd never expected from Cambodian oud.

As the oil settles on the skin, all the facets slowly entwine with each other, makes invigorating jungle vibe.

With one swipe, Khmer projects well for around 2hours then it sits close to the skin for about 4hours.

Khmer is a very playful, entertaining oud oil like a juvenile. I expect it to age into something special.
