No sir, I defer to you. I've been working through a very small collection over a very long time occasionally supplemented with samples from generous vendors and a 1/4 tola of something every couple of years at most. I share my thoughts but I don't spend a lot of money on this and I can't possibly have anything like the experience of anybody who has been buying and selling networking with other vendors like yourself. When I see the collections of some of the members here, I am humbled.

Also i tried this oil from a oxidised sample from a while back, the oil was really thick so maybe im missing a lot of what it has to offer. At the end of the day we are all still learning and the humble approach is always the best

IO Nagaland Imperial; totally non-Hindi, feels yellow in profile. Sweet, no spices and has perhaps a honey-type feel to it.
Can't be arsed to post in 'attar of the day' but on the other hand is Ruthuah II by Mellifluence. Damn this is nice, getting musk based on all the black bits and an hour or so in, a very animalic vibe is taking over. Can't actually find anything online

I remember being a bit so-so about Mellifluence after I went crazy and bought a ton of samples, but now with ~2yrs aging they're really nice.

also totally random but looking through Etsy messages to find out more about this Mellifluence attar and looks like Agarwood Assam's been renamed to AhomOud. Also I can't find my previous messages with Mellifluence - think he created a new shop so my older messages have gone! boooo

2 "re-tests" of oils I have for sale,
House of Misk - Borneo Prism - the sweetness dries off after 20mins leaving a good dose of "oudiness"...y'know it when you smell it type. I'd dismissed it as too sweet but I guess now after 2 years of owning it, it's come into its own somewhat
Rising Phoenix - 1960s Kycam. Stunning cambodi with a tiniest bit of funk then gives you an amazing purple/somewhat sweet fruitiness. Very very thick which is why I was selling it if I recall. Annoying to apply

reconsidering the RPP...hmm

10hrs later (maybe 12hrs after application) and a shower and the RPP Kycam is still somewhat noticeable. Great, oud doesn't seem to last too long on me lately 🙁

Just took a HUGE swipe, and I mean massive of Agar Aura's Kuzen. Another fantastic Cambodi, oh my <3. I accidentally put the dipstick in too far and pulled out a lot of oil

Let's see...

Oudline today. Malinau on one hand, Malay on the other.

great stuff some of the best in my collection

not sure what they carry now but these guys were just selling great stuff a few years back.

RBO Pursat on one hand and Khao Kho on the other. Khao is nice, Thai oil without being overly fruity and I can't pick up on any funk (which I'm no long acquainted with, so it jumps out at me nowadays)
The Pursat is a bit more rugged but again no more barnyard. Not sure what kind of notes I'm getting from it to be honest.

I've only managed small swipes and haven't long applied so will see how these develop.
