Wow!! And?
Solid combination! The brunei kinam is really nose and borderline face numbing. Hailam is citrus vanilla cream with some numbing and a touch of saltiness.

That's the speciality of Yunnan oils. Its more beautiful than Indian itself in that department.Got my Nha Trang Ultima from Imperial Oud and they threw in a sample marked Pontiniak 2020. Took a swipe. Interesting stuff. Anybody know about this oil?
one swipe of Nha Trang Ultima on the right and one of Yunnan Imperial on the left. LOVING Nha Trang. Yunnan is much more Hindi smelling than I would have guessed for a Chinese oil. I was expecting more bitter tea like nuances. Anyone else get an almost Indian or Bhutan character from Yunnan Imperial? Or do I just need to sleep on it and take another swipe tomorrow?
There we go! I’ll definitely spend more time with it.That's the speciality of Yunnan oils. Its more beautiful than Indian itself in that department.
Wearing a Meghalaya oil from a friend. It’s getting better by the day. At first it was a little too fresh but with some time it’s getting richer and more full. There’s a nice low temp scent happening here along with an almost Thai-like woods note. The kind that isn’t quite as deep as you’d like it to be and it smells a little damp. Other than that note this is wonderful oil. Dried down to a nice terpy resin scent. Solid projection.

I wore it the other day too and thought we might have been a bit hard on it. It is quite good really and unique.

wearing today, this Yunnan oil is quite nice, many layers, certainly more Chinese tea and bitterness than at first swipe.
Its tough though— that Nha Trang Ultima is just blowing my mind and the Pontiniak 2020 sample they included is close behind. Truly stunning. That’s an oil I want more of.

How would you compare this to the Oriscent Nha Trang LTD?
Agreed. I find that nha trang ultima has the prettier scent, but ntltd is the knockout oil.Ultima is Sweeter, less ultraviolet high notes, so the middle range colors are a bit clearer from the beginning. But also less kinamic, face-melting buzzy notes than LTD.
Same thoughs for me with ltd and ultima , ltd is deeper and last longer ,more woody but ultima i feel more clooser to kinam smell ,almost gurmand oud...top middle note more pronuncedOne swipe Nha Trang Ltd
One swipe Nha Trang Ultima
So different in the openings but get closer to the classic Nha Trang burning wood note as things progress. It’s here that the two oils resemble each other more but LTD reveals itself to be much stronger, a smaller swipe leaving a bigger scent.
