RBO Wild Classic Camboian Koh Kong
on the left
EO Irian Erang on the right

The Cambodian is very satisfying,
the funky isn’t foul,
there’s progression,
a fun daily swiper.

Irian Erang is satisfying also,
and it even reminded me of
Port Moresby (a little).

Lucky Oud - Garo Hills

Not in the same genre as Assam Emerald, Anokha & even Royal Kalakassi. These 3 were super clean oils.

Garo Hills has that musky leathery opening with hint of tobacco n spices.

To my nose the muskiness doesn't leave the scent pyramid. Though a little subtle, Get hints of florals n woodiness while having a sour berry note through mid n base.

If I have to colour code this oil it'll be Red.

If you are looking for a Hindi oil with some muskiness at top n maintaining the Hindi DNA. This is your oil.

EO Oud Extraordinaire. Again. Very enjoyable. Overpriced? Most likely. Going to buy another bottle to stash away? Definitely.

You think this is overpriced? 300 a bottle is about as cheap is you are gunna get in the artisinal world. I don't like this oil but for those who really dig a thicker oil - maybe you live somewhere high heat? This doesn't smell bad at all - it kinda smells like zara zen to my nose just thicker.

Kyara LTD 2.0 tried this before going on a walk and outside it has a whole different feeling. I believe indoors some ouds overwhelm my senses and I get the impression that they are very weak. But outside in nature, mixing with the air, it’s another dimension. Now I smell the reds and 7-up/sprite fizzling yellow over herbs and mint green— all these facets that I never saw in it above the Vietnam leather and bitter green medicine Fascinating stuff.

Alright y'all incoming - serious props to @EJayB for this sampler pack - this keeps me smiling during tough times. I'm sure I'll mention these in deeper review later, but naturally my arms are covered in oud, so while thats the case, I'll give some thoughts:

1. Oudbase silani - if you like really velvety rich vanillic, oceanic walla profile (vs sharp, candy, top heavy, or dark/incensy ones), then this is for you. Instantly, my mind puts this is same league as @Habz786 Fahad or Surrianka II type vibes. Definitely a royal regal feel - this is really nice
2. @EJayB Viet hydrosol - this is my first experience smelling a truly fresh oil. I mean this is so fresh, there's still water in it! I have a feeling this won't aint going to be for sale lol - so I'm grateful to get my nose on it. It's got this bitter pettigrain thing going on, with some sweetness/hay and as it's dried, I'm getting a frankincense/citrus tone too. Absolutely clean, no lactic or soak type notes whatsoever. off the rip theres a lot of volatile notes happening, which I personally love. My gut says this one will be STRONG in aroma and remain whistle clean while gaining some depth
3. @Habz786 -new Hindi Aljanah - so nice. I'm a big fan. Obviously a different aroma, but if you like malek ceeni, this one shares a similar type of tone and texture - very rounded, no sharp edges AT ALL. Really creamy, almost like a Horchata vibe? Spices and cinnamin but not spicy - spices like what you'd use for baking. I checked and it's still for sale. I'll be getting some!
4. @oudbase Maroke - this is again another hyper clean style oil with DRYYY wood texture and herbaceous. I only have experience with Maroke wood from ASO's batch - and this smells JUST like that
5. @al hashimi - Dilum. Gosh dang it - this is the one I totally missed. If you like @Habz786's Nasir, then you'll naturally love this one too. It's very similar but a tad sweeter at first blush, maybe a hair more fili than malay. I love these combo - and this particular oil similar to Nasir has this unmistakable (to me at least) nut extract accord - like amaretto. It also fumes - it's got this 3D type thing where when you smell it, you do a double take - like did my wrist just turn into a subutism on full blast?
6. @EJayB - Wild Srilanka - I've smelled both of these iterations, the green and brown now. Quite similar between the two, and I like them both. I'm not sharp enough to tell you the differences but they exist surely. I'll do a separate review comparing them maybe later in the week. What I love about these oils is this - Wallas are some of my favorite oils, HOWEVER, I often won't wear them out because the second I put a shirt over my wrist, the smell often goes away - especially with some of the super "clean" oils. These have the benefit of a longer soak which shows up in the aroma but it's done really well. It's essentially given it an deeper incense vibe - more smokiness and layers, and it ends up lasting longer. By the end of the wear, the base notes usually mirror the same base notes as a cleaner walla anyway, so it's definitely got this practical thing going for it that I really dig. These kinds I love throwing in my beard!

I'll try my hand at the AA ones another day - off the bat, they smell great and UNIQUE for sure.

Oh - and I got to try the floating mountatin stick from ASO - what a totally crazy stick. I'll need more time to review this one properly. It's amazing though when you get this minty incense aroma from something that's burning. Unexpected. The aroma is clearly well thought out.

Yes this is really true in my experience as well, especially with dense, more complex, and high level oils like that.

Dang - let's talk @Habz786 crushing it with this aljanah hindi oil. Ultra clean, totally a hindi smell but without any soak type notes at all. Just gorgeous spice yet smooth and rounded. Glowing brownish orange color.

Kinda smells like oudbase zenesis, but remove the Chinese segment and zero soak. I'm not surprised if this already sold out....

Glad you like it i personally love this oil! Wearing some Alfahd as i decanted the last bit, this oil reminds me of a Walla port moresby smells like a chip sizziling on low heat
