Oud Ashoka by Dr Parasun: It is getting its momentum week by week. Fragrance is so stable and is having lovely spice-y tones.

Oud Sarmad by Mr Umair: Opening notes have slightly sweet bitterness of the still, and later it evolves slowly but steadily and unveils its profile which is more of a Hindi than of a Burmese. Clean into clean!

Rose Musk Maceration: Musk in only Rose! Not everybody's cup of tea , but its dab has given a twist to Oud fragranceon the wrists.

Oud line Malaysian super from 2008 or so - this is some delicious wild and wonderful oil.

Lao shan from oud lab
Another ridiculously great offering
I Give 100% recommendation for The Oud Lab
All the non-members lurking on the site should join up And DM this House before they miss out on these outstanding oils. I have no affiliation with the vendor other then a love for his products 🤣😂

I’ve been massively enjoying my bottle of lao Shan as well. Nice change of pace, it’s comforting like walking to into an old book store, has a dry incense warmth to it. His description is spot on.

Lao Xiang is similar, maybe more medicinal?
Lao Xiang is sweeter, a bit more floral. a bit more old Cambodi character.
Lao Shan is a bit more on the old Malay character.

in the words of one experienced oud head, he said: if Lao Shan could be described as a masculine man, then Lao Xiang would be the beautiful woman.

A very heavy swipe of Hatun Hijau.

I had to pause a few times to smell it before I could take notes. Wow! Thats how the opening smells.
Such a beautiful scent. Opens up sparking-fizzy Green Apple(ish). Sour, minty.
Some nuances of Borneo. The vapor of cooking rice like scent.
Very clean, no barn or skank.

The dry down is light camphoric and little woody.
