Brother I’m so disappointed I missed out on Anas. My intention was to purchase it, however I procrastinated for 2 days & then it sold out. Considering the excellent reviews, I should’ve been more diligent….
Instead, I purchased the Maluku wood it was distilled from. On the sub at very low heat, the initial top note is the vivid purple iris-violet facet that everyone mentions. It’s powdery, starchy, bready - a very unique note that I haven’t perceived in any wood previously. 30 mins or so into the burn, the progression is beautiful with it’s oceanic, spicy, floral, musky character. I can only imagine how wonderful the oil is!
