Borneo 3000 EO - Good Borneo but it does not come to you. Have to really sniff hard to get something out of it. Does not match expectations with the price point.
Huian Ko @YusaAromatics - Good Cambodi. Bright fresh minty through the heart.
HM Burmi' 79 @SULAYM - This is the 4th day straight I am applying this. Just binging on it right now. This is that grand daddy of ouds. Oudiest of ouds. That's it. It satisfies every ouddict's cravings to the fullest. Oh man. What a treat this is.
Very very strong with its amazing profile. Satisfies to the fullest. You just inhale this and keep doing it forever. Does not ever disappoint. Pure indulgence. I have a 2.5 gr of it. Thinking to get another one. If I have to have one oil for my life this will be it. No second thoughts. No kyara, No kinam nothing.
‘Oudiest of Ouds…’ - that should have been the subheading for the product page on the website. Not a day goes by where I don’t receive a request for Sulaym No.1 and I always tell people buy HMSQ Burmi 79. It’s the deep purple incense note, the sillage, the transitions, the potency in very swipe. The Sultan really went to town with this one. Oil worthy of being named after him.

Pulled out Imperial Oud’s Yunnan Imperiale for the night swipe.

I feel like this oil is truly underrated. I don’t get much ambergris but I do get mineralic woods, deep brown hues reminiscent of the mulch found scattered around a Sonoran riparian reserve, it’s a unique scent association for me but it hits the mark for what I smell.

Creamy florals, vanilla, and of course gentle hay notes with a bitter green vein running through the heart and base. The drydown is simply ancient Agarwood. It starts off fermented and ends up smooth, pristine and creamy. It’s one of my favorite Oud experiences.

Please don’t run out of this one. If you do run out then get more. I need this forever. If someone is missing out on this one believe me you haven’t experienced that intoxication yet. What this oud gives you is pure satisfaction. It satisfies that cravings like no other. You will be in pure intoxication (nasha).

[Ouddict.com] Oud of the Day

South Thai Nakhon forests oud. I wouldn’t say this is from wild oud but it is from old, high quality trees. Smells like its environment : rainforest, green, slight resin. With medium florals and a tiny hint of fermented wood and sweetness. Definitely something I need to smell more of to get to its depths.

Sher Shah Assam 2024 from @An Najwa is my oud of the moment. A pretty lively Assam with a bright tang, minimal / no manure, slight fermentation notes, rich resinous heart, multilayered and interesting top and heart notes - having trouble coming up with associations here - just smelling like clean assam oud with a slight phenolic touch, rich resins, and nice sparkling woods.

@mesOUD - Havva

#SoulofOUD 🦅

When I first smelled Havva it took me on an extremely euphoric visual psychedelic trip (color wise not hallucinative). Melange of colorful tropical fruits I couldn't even name. Lemony citrus bite. Powdery purple floral incense with Mehmet's DNA on top of a Silani base...PERFECTION. It's so full & vibrant. So many colors & textures..moving & shifting. The most psychedelic experience I've ever had with an oil. Had no idea a purple Silani was even a thing until I smelled Havva. Havva is as unique as they come.

I fell in love with this oil instantly but that goes without saying. The craziest part of all is it became my fave Silani in my collection within the first few seconds of smelling it & it literally just came out the pot like a week ago. Anyone who knows anything about Silanis know why that's fucking insane.

Anyway I'm no reviewer & idgaf about naming notes so I will not break down Havva any further. I'm simply sharing some of my fave notes & expressing how it made me feel.

Mehmet , you are 1 of 1 in this community not only as a distiller but as a brother , you are an inspiration to us all. Shouts to you for another legendary distillation brother !

Vintage Koh Kong 2015 by CraftOud - Amazing brain buzzing oil!!!

This oil is psychoactive!!! Makes you feel good.

Strong but soft green mintiness, with a VERY strong resinous incense-y note, and delightful petrichor note with the feeling of humidity still in the air from a really hot, Cambodian summers day after rainfall, with candied sweet and sour red cherries, with super sweet red berries and other beautiful red fruits that merge together to create a fruity jammy note. Moving between elegant fruitiness, resinous incense (hardly any woodiness that I can perceive, just pure gourmand) notes and absolutely stunning kinamic like powdery white florals covered in beautiful relaxing honey with a note of caramel, some earth notes, and notes of greenery but too much, more sweet, fruity, honeyed florals, caramel gourmandness. As the oil develops even more after an hour in you get these resinous and woody incense notes now, the woodiness is quite quiet still but it is finally there in all its elegance, not plain or unpleasant but more of the smell of a true top shelf Cambodi wood of yesteryear being heated on the kinam heater with the resin and oil just oozing out together making a perfect incense note... all thee notes combine and create a beauty of an oil. I wish I bought 2.5g, this oil is a true masterpiece.

Fresh air notes and more floral as it develops more.

UPDATE: As it is progressing I am getting gorgeous creamy, lactonic milky sweet, chocolate notes. Just a little bit, but I believe they will get stronger and even may change into other types of choco related notes 😀.

Hi Ouddicts !
Today I swiped :

TOL Silani OG
Headshot Brainbuzz of Terps opening
Cannabis trichomes blast 💥 Almost hard musky sensation…
Seashells somewhere in the beach…
The waves brings seaweed and splashing on the rocks…
Oceanic breeze after 3 hours it become smooth and the sea is calming down … sunset on the sand feeling

Habz Al Hareer
Make me think about Ensar oud Shuayb!
Kind of Zoo barn, less hard than horses stable smell but you wearing a vintage leather jacket… it’s non offensive barn !
I like it … after few hours it smelling kind of tamarind and anis licorice !

Habz Alhind Dhahab
A smooth soothing mild barn that is addicting… it’s not even barn but it’s pheromonal smell !
This oil remind me lightly RPP Manipur & Meghalaya And JS Royal Tripura … it’s refined and feminine ! I love it …
This smell is very addicting and soothing
Vanilla cinnamony licorice ! Some nuts ! Caramel !

Habz Xiangshui
This oil smell old ! It’s very interesting…
There is « Oriscent » vibe on it imho…
Microcarpa isn’t usually my taste but each time I swipe this one , I like it more … it’s kind of library’s aura
Not typical old book smell but more magic Grimoire smell with metallic note
Firstly I was like « oh not my taste … »
But after spending some time with Xiangshui I find something addicting to this oil …

Have gooud swipe my friends ! 🙂

Man you are saying Alhind dhahab feminine! It is as masculine as it can get to me. I think yeah smell is very subjective. It is literally me romaning with lions in close vicinity.
