Wearing a bit of @RisingPhoenix Satun 2019 Thai oil. Opens with a sweet syrupy scent that has a fresh overtone. The description and reviews call it oceanic. I’m not sure I know exactly what that means but I can see that. It does have a certain funky quality but funky in a good way. As it progresses it picks up a bit of a creamy quality after the initial opening. Not much spice or but it does have a richness to it as well.

When you familiarise yourself with Walla Patta & Indonesian/PNG Gyrinops, you’ll understand the oceanic / aquatic reference. Many of these oils contain a vivid oceanic note, you can’t miss it!

Cintaku V2 AA - I love this oil ,a high grade Malay ,is it worth the price ? I will answer that later.
First 30 mins of application greeted with an amazing spicy minty slightly mentholic woody note than turns sweet vanilla cola smell , which is sustained till the dry down.
Smell uniqueness 8.5/10
Longevity 6hrs
Sillage not strong
Grade-high
Enjoyability 8/10
I compare it to Malay magnifique that have a better performance at a similar price point .
Will I buy it again ,or is it worth the hype of Cintaku ?
I would say no ,but if you love
Malay oils then I could argue that it's worth to keep in your collection.
I have multiple oils at different price points ,nothing smells a close to these oils.

Enjoy it in good health , I have my eyes on this one but hesitant to pull the trigger.
Worth every single penny, I can vouch 😁
They have great offering at amazing prices and back everything they sell. This is a fresh distillation but I got it to age it for a little, I’ve tried others from Papua but this is one of the best hence I pulled the trigger and never looked back.

Ouds of the night for me
Miri Sarawak Malaysia on one arm, and Blue Aceh on the other. (Both from Sultania Aromas)

Where do I start 🤣

Aceh with that lovely salty, oceanic breeze like aroma with green/purple hue, the way this oil transitions aromas is next level.

Miri sweet, jammy, and a classic authentic microcarpa Borneo, extremely clean full of incense.

Both of these oils will be legendary in the times to come and amongst the greatest!

Whoever has smelt these oils will appreciate and cherish every drop with satisfaction 😍

How does it compare to Taha laosi ouds?
I think this is on another level. It starts with a powdery bitter opening similar to Oriscent aesthetics, only for 1-2 minutes and then moves to floral nutty sweet heart, the most beautiful nutty note in any oud I tried before. The final stage is honey cinnamon woody, similar to HK oils. It's like 3-4 different oils in one oil.
