Malik Ghabat Leyte, my own personal bottle which had some musk added by a friend.

Exhilarating and constantly getting whiffs of its sweet leathery tones during tarawih.

There must be a psychological component to it, but to me darker coloured oils are just better. They just feel more real to me.

ASO Qandahaar 2.1

There’s a sphere of barn with it’s lovely
stable-fecal-leather pushed to the edge
without going over the edge.

Inside the sphere is classic oudiness with shades of fruits, resin, and caramel.
It gets a little tangy with touches of rose,
B. Serrata, and ambergris.

As it dries down there’s some nuttiness and an oudh chip on a heater together with raw agarwood.

That’s my first round with this oil, can’t wait to swipe it again.

Qandahaar 1 had a mintiness that was present from top to base, which made it more intriguing.

Mine arrived a few hours ago. Probably needs to rest, it might be jet lagged and jiggled. It's very fecal forward first sniff. Then antique varnish for me. Which should have a word of it's own, liquor plus lacquer for that aged oud antique-ness. LACQUOIR? Which I love, but at this point would definitely layer for depth. More time needed for rest and self distillation.

Part 2
What a delightful oudh to wake up, a sweet leather, a mint!!

I opened the bottle this morning and was hit by furriness. I'm inspired to play with it. Have added a tiny drop to my favorite Hoi An tincture.

AgarAura - Myitkynia 4k v2

I have to say that Burmese oils that I experienced before this one did not work for me. Heavily fermented and centered around a curry note.

But this one, wow. There’s a sweet bitterness, heavy on the cinnamon and the dry down is amazing it smells like fumigated fabrics with good quality oud wood. If there’s any Burmese oils that gets better than this I need to try it, because this is amazing.
Can I still purchase this oil? I’ve seen countless glowing reviews about it."

Jinkoh Store - Hoian Kinam
This is a very special, Vietnamese oil from 2008. Pure mind buzz, kinamic vibes. Like gently heating kinam chips. Absolutely stunning.

I wonder how it compares to the original

Oudique - Huian Ateeq. My first buy from these guys and a blind buy at that. Zero regrets. Has been going strong since applying early this morning (now early evening) as well as having taken a shower. I suspect I'll still be able to smell it tomorrow morning. Such a nice dry down. Puts hairs on ya chest. Very thankful for the recommendation @Ahmaoud 🙏💚

Emperor Of Pursat - Jinkoh Store

A stunning Cambodi, probably the favourite in my collection!
A super clean, medicinal, bitter, vaporous, luminous top note. Crassna, but exhibits a strong kinamic Chinese Sinensis facet. As the oil progresses on skin, a wonderful rounded sweetness emerges; cherry & strawberry, marzipan-almond, caramel.
Florals, herbs, greenery & beautiful anise note continues to develop until the glowing, resinous, incensey, honeyed, rich sinking grade Crassna resin note emanates from the base.
Seriously good stuff, addictive, I’m compelled to swipe this one every hour just to experience that heavenly top note!

Long gone unfortunately. It’s one of my favourite oils, a masterpiece new gen Burmese. I only own a 0.2g sample…..very upsetting!

As Karim mentioned, it has a glorious bittersweet, spicy, deep resinous ambery Oudy quality while also remaining bright, floral, terpenic & vaporous.

I liked this oil. Priced very aggressively for a 20 year old oil.

To me it smelled like a Thai oil with sweet cinnamon camphor as opposed to a leathery spicy Cambodi

There is one olde Burmese from the same region ,just now presented for sale by Ensar . Might not have the characteristics but will be awesome

Maroke day
Maroke EO -the arabica maroke what it should be called ,one underrated maroke out there ,nice coffee smooth woody minty maroke
Can't get better .
Maroke qadeem Habz -easily in my top 10 ouds that I have ,nice old woody perfume smell , it's wears more like a perfume than an oil .
Maroke craft oud - has similarity to Habz but not quite as rounded as it a little more harsh .Don't get me wrong ,it's a nice oil to have but not if you have maroke qadeem .
Maroke filaria mesoud - this oil starts out harsher than the others ,with some not appealing top notes of dry mouth smell 😷,sorry brother Mehmet . That only lasts upto 10 maybe 30 mins . Then transforms into minty woody slightly cedar fumes . Nice oils to have in the collection .

What a delightful oudh to wake up, a sweet leather, and mint dry down!! Such a great nose OUDAMBERLOVE. I'm getting the luscious notes you listed yesterday.

When I opened the bottle for reapplication this morning. I sniffed the cap and was hit by a yummy furriness. I'm inspired to play with it. Have added a tiny drop to my favorite Hoi An tincture. .
