Smells so Oud
AlHindoud - Alamgir 1 + Habzoud - Jaya Qadeem. Fantastic combo.
It sounds like, now that I'm going alcohol free, I would use the steam distilled as a dilutant if the additional sandalwood note doesn't mess with my vision. Some similarities, some differences. More similar to CO2 oils than to distilled oils I think.
I have smelled only four co2 extracts, and they varied considerably so it is hard to make a comparison. It resembles one of the CO2 extracts more than others but you would never mix them up. The CO2 oils likewise have rich topnote layers missing in the distilled oil.
You can charge people to stand downwind of you I think.Hi Salam Ouddicts 🙂
Today is fell into excessive swipes of the day 😅
MesOud Havva 🍌🍦🥭🌊🪵💦🌾
An Najwa Omar II 🐴💼🐎🍑🌾🌶
An Najwa safeer 🥐🧈🥞🍯🌾
An Najwa Sher Shah 🍇🪵🍦🍑🌾
An Najwa Arakan classic 🫐🍑🌰
Havva is maybe the best clean Silani oil I tried with Adhrijaya…
The opening is a sweet Banana candies with a honey aroma in a kind of vanilla yoghurt ! It remind me Al Hashimi Lindaraja in the banana opening but with less incense than Lindaraja and more sweetness and power ! Then mango coming with an apple pear juice and a light resinous woodiness and airy jungle vibe …
After hours Havva got un unbelievable oceanic vibe of waves splashing the rocks and that mineral sea salt note coming to remind me how Adhrijaya is beautiful! I almost get a Borneo vanilla diesel like with a golden vetiver shadow !
This silani got all in one … Havva got the silani tropically profile with the silani Oceanic profile… full spectrum !
A real treasure…
Omar II is a very nice barny Hindi !
Opening is strong spicy leather barn but then calming down and sharing a dark leathery Agallocha Dna with horses skin scent which I love but not so hard …
Of course it’s barny but in a right way it’s not dirty to my nose …
For sensitive nose I recommend more safeer or Sher shah
Safeer is honeyed hindi with a sandalwoodish buttery smell, very well balanced between the smooth barn and the sandalwoodish butter smell !
It’s a lovely oil !
Sher shah got a powdery mighty Mizo opening with lots of additional notes …
I get dry berry and apricot and smooth sandalwoodish aura dry grapes and light incense! Very nice oil !
Arakan classic is the classical Burmese oil with the blueberry and apricot marmelade and a mild bitter sweetness, some almond and the smoothest clean crassna « barn » I have ever experienced which is very addicting ! It’s clean but the typical fruity crassna is kind of cheesy some time when it’s too much fruity ! Here it is beautifully balanced !
Sorry for the long post I have to be selective in my describing style 😅
I wish you all a Gooud swipe of the day ! ^^
Thanks but You too brother … ^^ you even convinced me few times to try some oils with your review 😉You can charge people to stand downwind of you I think.

Hours later and drydown is nice, hopefully with aging the barn to base balance will improve.ASO Qandahaar 2.1
Unapologetic fecal barn with a boozey zest
dominates the opening that will satisfy the hardcore barn lover.
Oudy hit, vanilla and fruits, resin and wood,
but I miss the camphor from the first Qandahaar.

Version 2.1 has a beautiful dry down. Almost like vintage Malaysian.
great description! This is what I wrote on 04/29/2017
ASO Qandahaar
At first swipe like smelling the green leaf of Mint, but not minty, then the Camphor, but airy, not too much Camphor, all the while, a creamy Barn lurking in the background.
Then the display of Oud matched by the Camphoraceous-ness.
Then the Barn comes forward, and pairs-up with the Perfume.
(The Barn is Musky and Indolic, but smooth and pleasant) (The way my imagination captures the Perfume Aspect, is as if you added 2 cups of Ta'ifi Rose hydrosol, 1 cup of Boswellia Serrata hydrosol, 1 tablespoon of Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan, and some Sinensis dust into the Degh during distillation)
Then the oil settles in harmony between the Brightness, the Oud, the Barn, and the Perfume. It stays that way for a good long while.
At drydown, more Barn, more Oud, and a Medicinal Vibe. The brightness is lessened but never goes away.
