Oh thanks for reminding me that I have two arms to apply Oud to… I’ve just doubled my sensory experience and acceleration through this hobby (and wallet?)
Doubled? With all those new arrivals?

1. left upper arm, 2. right upper arm.
3. Left lower arm, distal side, 4. right lower arm distal side. 5. Left lower arm, proximal side, 6. right lower arm proximal side. 7. right wrist distal 8. left wrist distal 9. right wrist proximal 10. left wrist proximal 11. Back of hand right side 12 Back of hand left side 13. Left kneeca.... ok you get the idea. Try as I might, I can't find any way to make use of my elbow.

(P.S. in a pinch, each knuckle can hold a drop of a different oil lol)

OudSg Green Malay.

Love this one. The scent association finally clicked today. Frozen peppermint patties! If anybody is from the states you'll know exactly what I mean. Just imagine one of those as you're sitting by some running water, greenery around you. Perhaps your s/o is chewing on some sour sugary sweets and you can pick that up in the air.

It applies like warmed honey.
This is smooth and mellow - even when I applied a huge swipe I wasn't overwhelmed.
It actually smells like cultivated Kyara on low heat - how I know: I had Purple Kyara chips from China on the subtism all day and was contrasting them.
At the end of the workday now when I smell my hand I smell pure honey!
I wrote this before checking the website and am pretty impressed that I agree with the site.
Not the most powerful in sillage or projection but a great low key oil that will not offend and reminds me of that low heat vibe of Kyara.

EO Royal Guallam

I've been enjoying Borneo oud oils so much lately, I almost wear them exclusively these days because they suit the weather perfectly, floral and woody, no off putting notes at all, one oil has the "Miswak" smell that I adore in oils.
Tonight I craved some good vietnamase, I missed the bitterness, the medicinal and woody notes, and RG fulfilled.

Changmai from @Oudique
Wish I’d ordered more. Light fruits… pleasant and not too sweet. Might more be available someday or stocked away ? … I hope! Love this artisans work and value.
I'm actually looking for just a good daily sweet fruity Thai that I can get a big bottle of. Nothing too expensive or rare but reliable. Would this one have fit that bill or any other suggestions?

Hello Salam Ouddicts 🙂
Hope you are well well ^^

Today I swiped a Special Oil …

I have to write about it now before reading reviews and being influenced in the way I describe it …

Habz Malinau Maliki 🍦🌰🍼🪵⛽️🌾🫐

Wow 😮‍💨 Game Over 😵

The show start with Vanilla pods extremely well balanced in terms of sweetness…
A creamy vanilla ice cream feeling without the over sweetness…
It remind me the very special Blue vanilla from “Ile de la Réunion” Pastry cream & milk
The chestnut pudding is delicious and again well balanced …

First, I am thinking about Jinkoh Malinau QI vanilla Side … but I am quickly submerged by an intense fizzy Diesel note that I usually find in high end “ Borneo , Brunei “ oils from Oriscent for exemple …
This fizzy, sparkling dry powdery woodiness that remind me Brunei kinam and Even the Vanilla Diesel woody raspberries cocktail in AA Royal Malinau …
I get every notes that I love so much in these crazy Borneo oils …
After few hours of drying down I almost get a shadow of Habz Borneo King , Ensar B50K, white Kinam & B3000 …
A kind of mineral note found in top tier Silani oils, an amazing and beautiful golden Vetivery note and a sandalwoodish dry woodiness which remind me Old days of Borneo Oils …

This oil is next to my favorite Malinau of all time : AA Royal Malinau …
I am not afraid of saying that cuz I know what I am smelling right now and even fresh, this oil is to my honest opinion the very best Oil Habz released since 2018 at least …
Habz Borneo King and Al Maliki Maluku oils are amongst the oils I am cherishing the most … But this Malinau is even more impressive… with age it will be kind of oils that every ones will hunt without any chance to find some …
It’s been longtime I was looking for this kind of Malinau …
Al hamdulillah I found it .
My Malinau Quest ending now 😅
Brother Habz, what you brings us here is Something very Special 😓
Mashallah

I wish you all a very Gooud swipe ^^

This is exactly what I was hoping to read about this new oil. I just don't have the experience or time put into this yet to understand what I had before me other than it was something really special. As I said, I have never smelled something like this before. Man, am I happy now I have.

Nice to read a great impression. I haven't smelled a vanilla note in an oud before. Very tempting...

“Kalakassi Oud Oil” - Abdul Samad al Qurashi

The stated “80 year” version of this notorious product we were talking about on a thread earlier in the week.

Taking off the cap and sniffing the top of the stopper-dipstick, there are strong notes of fermented fruit, with a somewhat coarse acetone character. I took a fat swipe and it opened up quickly with sour berries and spicy notes of ginger and black pepper.

This product is superloud - none of the artisan oud oils I own really ‘project’, but this does. After swiping, I hopped on my bike and cycled away on an errand - the oil was in my nostrils the whole way there and the whole way back despite a strong wind.

Not an artisan product…not at all…but I kind of admire and enjoy its brashness on some level.

I'm a bit of a drooling mess with the combination I have going on right now. On my sideburns I'm wearing the new Hindi from AlHindOud - Nizam Ul Mulk + Genesi patchouli attar - Oudique on my jacket collar while also burning Shoyeido - Pride of Kyoto. YEAH BABY!! 🤤🤤🤤

Nice to hear the Gensei get a mention. I have hardly touched mine. Need to use it more.
