Hindi no1 by @Tabeer_Oud is a clean style Hindi, which can be described as a golden shimmering glow of sweet honeyed hay, with clay and dried earth, a burst of green oceanic breeze with a hint of pepper and cardimon chai. Middle show cases a more refined bitter incensey phase with the most faintest shimmer of barn in the back drop, barely noticeable. A zestyness of orange peel and lemon cheesecake with a solid Hindi base.

Clean, refined, rounded and both sweet and bitter. Deffo one for new gen lovers!

Lovely jubbly!

Side by side if possible would be interesting to hear your thoughts, ive not properly applied it yet but off the dipstick i was like hmmmm OM5
I don’t have any more OM5.
But based on memory, the Cambodi in OM5 is distinct, and the Hindi in Sultan Altamash likewise. Some similar notes but not quite the same. OM5 showcases it’s delictable fruits and creamy barn, SA goes deep into the Hindi wood, with complements from the resiny fruit essence and tame leather barn. I keep thinking oudy rustic with SA, OM5 not rustic and woody, but smooth and delicious.

Is that on his website? I can't spot it.

Nizam Ul Mulk - Alhindoud. This is honestly like Hindi soaked honey to me. Slightly narcotic in scent. I put on a decent swipe in the early evening which normally would be fine but I was falling asleep on the couch by 8pm and so decided to go to bed with the Oud still in full swing barely into the dry down. Needless to say my wife stuck to the far side of the bed. I remember her rolling over and putting her arm over me to her suddenly having a coughing fit and quickly rolling away again. I think she stuck her nose right in it 😜 I however was having sweet Hindi dreams.😁

I got habzoud‘s new maliki malinau yesterday.
Today i gave it a full wear and tried to compare it to my other malinau oil from ensar malinau 3000.
M3000 smells like fermented fruits in the opening changing into a nice breezy oil sadly losing some of its power.
MM starts with an intense „medicinal“ opening (please correct me if i am using the wrong term, maybe theres a better wording but i dont know how to describe it else)
After 5-10 min this is gone and i can smell a faint kerosine note in the background, but now the magic starts to happen and i evolves into this beautiful woody smell 😍 that lasts for hours!
I was testing pretty much every oil from habz he released in the last 2 years.
And this one is my favourite, al taaj was great but this one is even better.
I love both oils but habz is the winner 😉

@AlHind Oud Oud shah Alam
Today i visited my malay oils, checked some and made the final with Shah Alam
Shout out to brother Mohammed
Really a very nice malay oil, captured the true scent of chips on low heat
😋
Seconding that! An absolutely ballistic oud oil, it's one of those oils, if you smell once, you'll forever be craving it! The word brilliant falls short for this oil!

To me Hindi No 1 represents “Assam”❤️
I get a similar vibe at the tail end of Taj Mahal.

Hi Salam Ouddicts

Today I swiped Hindiiii ^^

Ensar Oud Isa
Habz Al Hind dhahab
Tabeer Oud Sultan AlTamash

Isa is simply my favorite Hindi oil ever …
The sweet smooth milky woody addicting barn which is evolving in kind of Borneo woodiness is just unbelievable…
The number one in my top 5 Hindi

Habz Al hind dhahab reach top 3 !
The opening is fabulous !
That nuttiness with that chocolate note is so gourmand… I love it sooo much !
Kind of roasted chestnuts 🌰
Minimum barn he can fight in clean new gen category!

Sultan Altamash is in top 3 also …
I am really impressed by this oil …
The sweet and smooth barn of milk and chocolate with a dark side of resin is to my nose in same league of Oud Isa …
They sharing something… maybe aging … such rounded oils …
The creaminess is unbelievable! Addicting…

Hindi definitely got something special !

If I have to choose only one species… it would be Agallocha…

I wish you all a very Gooud swipe Ouddicts 😇

Al Hashimi's Saktara II again because I brought my 1/4 tola with me on a trip, so I'll be solely swiping this for a week. I have to say it's up there with Sultan Altamash as a favorite. Saktara II has a bit more cheese whereas Sultan Altamash is just as smooth as can be but what I love about both is that their creamy, chocolately, leathery facets are so deep and in overdrive.

Does anyone know how some agallochas smell more of chocolate and leather while others have a more peppery-anise-like scent? Does this have to do with region more than distillation method? Or?

Malinau maliku - Habz

After spending more time this oil I can say that it's one of the best oils Ive smelled in a long time. I can only imagine how much better this will get with time. Easily one of the best Borneos Ive smelled.

Has the crazy minty honey blue-purple floral pollen touch of vanilla oud-iness going on. Aside from Borneo 3000, it's the only oil Ive smelled that captures this profile clearly and fully.

Projects well, lasts a long time, hits like a cologne.

Can't say enough good things about this one and I wish all the other "Malinau" oils I bought smelled like this.

[Ouddict.com] Oud of the Day

Phuket Island from immortal oud
Starts off salty airy like a humid day on the sunny beach, then the sour berries come in, pineapple with a spicy cola scent coming in and out. Ending with sweet creamy woods. Nice summer wear
