Malinau maliku - Habz

After spending more time this oil I can say that it's one of the best oils Ive smelled in a long time. I can only imagine how much better this will get with time. Easily one of the best Borneos Ive smelled.

Has the crazy minty honey blue-purple floral pollen touch of vanilla oud-iness going on. Aside from Borneo 3000, it's the only oil Ive smelled that captures this profile clearly and fully.

Projects well, lasts a long time, hits like a cologne.

Can't say enough good things about this one and I wish all the other "Malinau" oils I bought smelled like this.

Thanks brother, means alot coming from you as i know your really into your top top shelf oils!

This is A-tier oil! Superb!

Habz provides great stuff… not only does he deliver the authentic product, but he has a really nice aesthetic. It aligns with my own when it comes to oud.

So Indian Oud is where I'm currently Lol
I know it is not the best time of the year to start the Indian oud journey, but I'm in love with these leathery, powdery, tea and caramel oils. I've read many times the oud oil journey ends at the Indian oud and I agree.
Meghalaya 1977, Qandahaar 2.1, Kalakassi 150 years, Emperor of Meghalaya, an old school smooth and leather heavy, and a newly distilled one that is full on a gorgeous barnyard note and burnt sugar.

AL SHAREEF OUDH ~ Vathimi Raja

An elegant summer stroll, with subtle light oudiness. A perfectly balanced floral tea. The flowers to my appreciative tooth, more wild than sweet. On your walk, you notice the expanse of flowers having bloomed into incense, teasing sandalwood and musk, but not. It's an intimate oud that nuzzles the skin.

Add to that, the treat and magic of having the wood!! Swoon ~

@Hamza H shared a precious drop of firdaus and al astoora
Both are beyond words - al astoora had a microsecond of hay (!?) and then went immediately into my favorites zones Honey, vanilla… chocolate - yes leather … but more complex - and now into a dreamy incense with a tiny hint of camphor?! - words are failing me
I wish I was able to use these oils every day… honored to have these drops. I’ll try to do a better job describing them as I use them… toothpick swipe by swipe

Thank you @Hamza H !!!

اهلا وسهلا

I have been toiling with the idea of releasing one of my Kalakassi private oils, only I wear this oudh. If I do, there will be only 10 bottles. Every time i wear it, i say "I am home".

Al Shareef Oudh: Aurangzeb (1972)

Spiritual, wise, refined, dignified, wondrous, encapsulating, comforting, grounding.
This is a 53 yr old, beautifully aged hindi oudh from the subcontinent's north-east.
This oil contains what you dream of when you crave hindi oudhs.
The scotch of the alcohol abstaining.

Zamarad 3

I'm growing to appreciate this one more with each wearing. Going to other ouds that I now find "lesser than" you can really differentiate how z3 shines. The notes sing a little clearer, a little louder. The muskiness is everpresent but soft - the florals unwilling to let it present itself fully. A powdery fuzz can be found all over this oils life.
Good job finding this one Habz.

Wearing "Oud Hindi Qadeem Agarwood Oil," which I picked up during a materials order at:

https://aromology.com

Shipping took less than a week; I ordered on a Monday morning, and received it Friday when I got home from work. I asked "no signature," so I'm sure that helped, and it didn't look inspected.

I think this was only $80-85 USD.

Very pleasant; would make an excellent introduction to the oud world. It has a sweet, honey-like base, and the opening is typically of the oil's odor profile. Highly recommended, beautiful packaging, etc....
