Hoi An by Imperial Oud
-reminds a bit of viet zephyr, it has sharp bitter woody opening, some leather after it smooths out and I detect a light fruitiness sort of reminiscent of a borneo oil, then typical Vietnamese notes with cinnamon earthy and slight musty notes, very nice oil.
Yes, I don't think it's released yet. I was lucky to get an early sample, there is another one labeled Nha Trang....this a new one? I'm enjoying this EO Maroke now, was a bit put off in the first 30 mins or so. Odd, I like most Maroke oils
How is that one?Yes, I don't think it's released yet. I was lucky to get an early sample, there is another one labeled Nha Trang....
Currently enjoying Mughal Amber by RisingPhoenix. What a wonderful combination of Hindi Oud and an Amber blend. It has an astringent aspect to it that I adore and which reminds me of Umami Ceylon Sandalwood which I also have from RPP. The scent also reminds me of what you can experience in a forest when you walk across a patch where trees were cut with chainsaws and prepared for logging. Moist logs after rainfall, tree stumps and fallen bark and a faint scent of oil. One of my favorite scents. A perfect blend for those that love hindi oud but whose family can't stand it, because it still has that roughness to it but no barn and is very classy.
Mughal bros!I fell in love with this too <3
I think I'll swipe JK's BioDyanmic Hindi

Mughal bros!
Which Hindi will you swipe? I am tempted too but can't yet as people tend to complain when I come in a room with a hindi 🙁 But when I go to sleep it will be Gangaridai![]()
