Honestly this was my initial reaction for a few swipes .... but more and more I wore this Oud I kind of started to get connected to it ... eventually ended up buying a .95gr vial
It is morning now and I am loving the subtle drydown scent that is still present 🙂

I bought a bottle of Tigerwood Royale in my first purchase. I now know I should have sampled first... That's how we learn, right... I've worn it once and agree with your assessment. It's not a bad scent, may never be a favorite... Just happy it's not a candied fruit bomb.
Hehe, perhaps we should listen to Dan and try wearing it some more. Candied fruit bomb, that's a bit like what it actually smells like to me. Not complaining though 😉

Currently enjoying Sai Yud by RPP. This is the strongest oil I have. Just a tiny dab gives and keeps on giving a strong scent reminiscent of an indolic flower (except a hundred times stronger). There is a beautiful resinous aspect to the scent. Deeply intoxicating, perhaps initially slightly unpleasant, but when you get used to it it can give you a mesmerising experience. The scent goes on and on without weakening. Extremely smooth without any rough edges. This is also the most challenging type of oud for me to get into but here I am loving it.

I have half a stick or so sample that ASO has sent, I shall burn some tonight 🙂

Please share views I find them priced a bit out of range considering how many sticks we get in 5g and 10g respectively and the shipping also seems a bit off.... may be after your view it can change for me

We offer a few different shipping options, if you are in UK or US, the standard shipping has a decent turn around to both those destinations. We also offer $5 flat pack standard shipping that delivers to the UK and US in very reasonable times.

All that being said, Australia is very far from EUROPE and US, considering our distance our shipping prices are very competitive if not the most competitive.

As for our incense I hope you can try them yourself, we use the highest grade ingredients and everything is hand made.

Please drop us a line I am certain we can organise something for you.

Today was a bit different instead of oil I decided to go whole day on fumigation

Started with

Hindi Chip followed by Filipino chip and ended the fumigation with some Walla Patta
(All chips from Azhman)

The day has been great, still can get a bubble around me to keep me uplifted

People's Ceylon (Ensar) and Doha incense stick on my electric heater (Al Shareef).

I was craving Sri Lankan oud, but not a pretty one; I wanted muscle and ruggedness, People's Ceylon hits the spot!

I am a real newb to incense, and am just heating -- not burning -- Doha, and it is really an eye-opening experience! Oud buddies have generously shared incense sticks with me over the years that I've tried but they didn't really click with me . . . though I kind of knew it would just be a matter of time, as these things usually are . . . and I think that time has come, Doha has been a real "aha!" for me. So will be getting some Doha sticks and revisiting my little sample stash. @Al Shareef Oudh I think you've helped me into a new adventure! :Whistling::Whistling::Whistling: And thanks to my buddies who've had faith and sent me incense samples, I will put them to good use now that I get it!

You are most welcome @jensz, it is very satisfying to hear that we opened new doors of olfactory experience for you. I believe the cross fusion between our traditional bakhoor mixtures and Tibetan incense making is what makes our sticks uplifting and unique. As the compositions are nothing like the China/Japanese compositions. I think you will really enjoy some of our upcoming sticks.

Looking forward to it 🙂
