Oud of the Day

pre-bed - ASO - Fajr and Hindi and Treasure Oud - Star Oud.
I dunno what's going on but some of my oils' volumes are way less than they should be! Like Star Oud was definitely full, yes it's a thick oil but I've not worn much of it but it's missing maybe 1/8th of the bottle. Other oils I've worn (and I mean, multiple big full-applicator swipes here) many times haven't put any sort of dent in the bottle. No leakage that I can see bug the remaining volume just looks wrong.

Happened to an IO oil too 🙁

it's kinda noticeable cause anything I've really worn, the bottle level looks as full as I've had it. I store all my bottles upright too - except for Star Oud, I've kept that laying down and it does look like some oil has got in between the "grooves" that the cap screws into so I guess I've lost some that way 🙁

also following the recent topic about Thai ouds I have swiped one by LMK & Royal Bengal Ouds too

also on my incense burner is Holy Land, a Tibetian incense and on my oud burner is Brunei wood from Al Hashimi. Smelling goooood!

Come to think of it...Yes!....the oil does travel up the dipstick, and I even see evidence of it inside the screw cap. Some oils more than others.....even in tight dipsticks, like the Al Haramain ones that Ensar uses.

I use Al Haramain too. Mines have two levels of the plastic if you like. One for a close shut with a small gap and then a very tight shut.

Power-wise, they’re not a Sultan or Senkoh feat, but profile-wise.....superb. Price-wise.....just what the Doctor ordered🙂
