Hope you don’t regret it. Some people here have smelled so much more oud than me, I hope my preferences are not too much a product of my lack of experience. I feel like I know good oud when I smell it, and I have been collecting oud for a good 20 years, I just never have the money to buy high-end stuff. Fortunately I have gotten my hands on samples here and there - if someone hadn’t been generous to me with samples I never would have even been aware of this oil. I wonder about the other 500 ouds that I haven’t smelled that have been delivered by the artisanal vendors over the past 5-10 years. If I got to know all of those, would my tastes and preferences now look naive and uninformed in light of that experience?
