It is 40- 43°C here. Summer has set in. Now rose will be at its peak.I guess that means 20°C......
This is how I feel about RPP Phnum Samkoh. It's not fecal at all, or stinky, but it doesn't have that ethereal, light, mostly-top (in the opinion of some) gen 3 thing going on either.Swiped Tigerwood Royale
Lovely Malaysian. Not barny, but not new generation either. Distilled and aged with no extremes. Mature, resinous and beautiful.

) oils instead of oud but today I made an exception.No reasoning at all actually, just that some oils are off putting to me in hot weather and some aren't.I’ve never really developed a sense of connection between fragrance choice and temperature. What is your reasoning? What general categories of fragrance do you avoid on hot days versus cold days?
I dont think soo.As I know,some oils are yin and some yang...yin ican have a cooling effect(grasses,flowers),and generaly strong ouds are yang(warming effect).No?No reasoning at all actually, just that some oils are off putting to me in hot weather and some aren't.

Has it stopped evaporating?Today I wore IO's Viet Zephyr, another great oil.

In my case it will have to be on two parts of my wrist 😛All day work,nearly 40©in Slovenia.Came home late and saw your post...
What should one do,to make a day worthy?
I applied exactly same oud,but you hitted to a point!
I discovered that Nha trang has uplifting effect,when you put just a tiny drop of Hoi an a bit under Nha trang.
In my case former is on mustages and later on the beard.
If you want to do the same,you need.to grow a beard
But thanks for suggestion,I applied a bit of rose oil too,its blooowiing(in the wind);
