That's a beast ... you have the pure parfum version or the E Parfum? I wanted to know how good the longetivity on the E Parfum is?

Pure Parfum. I have the tiny .5 ml sample that it was offered in at first but I just finally bought the 9.5 ml spray last night! So excited to have an actual amount of it soon

Oudline km super ateeq on the backs of my wrists and this amazing Thai oil that faridoux sent me out of the blue one time. Right now, whatever this oil was, it is the most balanced, pleasant Thai oil in my stash by a long shot. All these nice well balanced oud notes. It’s clearly “just” a plantation Thai, but something was done really right. The heart note has some nicely balanced floral nuances and there are no offensive sour or sharp or cloyingly sweet notes like I have found in many Thai oils.
Faridoux - that was a treat, whatever it was, and I wish I’d bought a tola.

White glue! You mean acetic notes maybe? I think I’ve sensed that in oud before but this is the first instance of this adjective to describe oud aroma that I have seen.

I’ve had students say oud smelled like crayons and paint and pepper but never glue.

That’s probably it, acetic, but I’m am not sure what acetic smells like:Cooler:
I’m going off memories in grade school in the Philippines. We had this white paste which came in a plastic tube. It was used for gluing, seemed a little starchy, but had this bandaid smell. I smell it in a lot of oud, but not so much in the new generation style ouds.

Ahh that’s different. White glue in the US uses polyvinyl acetate which releases a vinegar smell (like acetic acid) when it cures.

Really surprised not much is spoken about this oil. This is such a different Kelanta profile to Zamarad(Habzoud) and Kilantan(Al Hashimi)

That green mossy Vetiver feel very unique for an Oud Oil.

Burnt - Dr Incense Processed Pursat to start the week at work ....

A solid stick one of Dr's good work. The stick gives u an aroma at room temperature.

SOTN - Oud Muhib by Habzoud -one of the best cambodian tryed up to date , this is not your typicall dried fruit and tobacco DNA .On first 10 minutes you get bitter vibe like chinese and vietnamese oils ,zero barn or funkiness, when is settled down smells exactlly like a good piece of cambodian wood on slow heat, very smooth note of incense , silky sweet and woody with hints of boozy notes. 10 / 10 for price

Finally got a chance to spend some time with this very unique Oud oil. I dont know if it's my current passion for Musk or what? But this oil can easily be sold as Oud with the most amazing clean Musk..... initially I felt it was like a shape shifter... moved between Hindi to Vietnamese and back to Hindi .... but later settled into some fruity tones on backdrop of Musk....

Top Oil!!!
