I might just start wirh adding a TINY % OF ROSE VERY slowly because it will OVERWHELM JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE if you use more than the tiniest bit. Once you feel good about your oud and rose combo you can work other things in....mysore is going to really get dulled out by both the oud AND the rose unless your useing a VERY robust mysorealong the lines of one if those musky profiles ....but again you REALLY have to watch your ratios....im nit familer with that Ajmal but i personally would not mess with a pristine wild oud oil by adding all that to it unless it was a planation oil readily availablelime a trat thai. ....but I'm curious what your going for because vetiver is a great oil to make fresh scents like mixed with bergamot and lavender ....thats something I could also see putting a little mysore in to in order to effect a creamy vibe and if you want to put a little base in your voice (and your fragrance) you can drop a few drops of either musk or oud in for good measure.

AA tia sang
Beautiful smelling oil, very floral
A light extremely mobile oil that will freely drip from the dipstick. This smells great but honestly the scent is faint and top note heavy so I swiped 3 times but the oil just doesn’t project ,it’s a whisperer. A beautiful whisper for sure and maybe performs better inside in a closed space. Scent is fleeting as I write and I see a much sooner need for me to reapply

EJ,

It has gotten a little stronger in projection for me as it has settled after transport. It has a really a gorgeous unique scent.

Wearing AA Royal Sumatra today. I really enjoy this oil. Immensely. This is the one @Dean sent me which convinced me of the mind effect present in Oud. Amazing stuff.

I also warned you if the rabbit hole you would be going down when you start your oud journey, it’s a fun one though! I’m glad you find these just as stunning buddy

EO - Papuamantan & Oud Extrodinaire

OE, my enemy....really hardened oil and difficult to get out of the sample vial. This time around, I used a toothpick to get the oil out instead of the applicator, and swiped it in lumpy patches as it doesn't smear. Smells really off, like when a vintage fragrance has lost its top notes and is a little rancid
It's 2 hours in and it's no longer unpleasant, but just ...unpresent. It's odd

I didn't enjoy the Papua oil at first but now it has a very similar aroma to filipino chips being burned - that purple vibe. It's great!

@Al Shareef Oudh Al Malek Al Ceeni - Bangarang wowzers jeeze louis!

OK so I've been dying to try some of ASO's higher end oils for a long while now. Finally got a chance. Oh man - this one is soooooooooooo goood, too. Chinese with this unbelievable depth and absolutely stunning start to finish. Opens with this a super smooth honey chai. then goes into a cinnamin. these crazy floral thing going on underneath it all but subtle - not overpowering at all, just kinda adding to it. But the whole thing has this kinda 3D aspect that I've only ever really experienced when oud oils go overly lactic - you know? like when ouds are fermented alot, it gives this kinda depth that feels like it's not really a note but more of a thematic thing - like an unseen backdrop supporting everything and adding texture. Same deal here, but if this oil is fermented, I wouldn't know. Has a 3D effect but without that. Now mind you, this oil is expensive, so I literally popped open the .1 tester vial and just dabbed what was on the stick already - I wasn't going digging around. Oftentimes when I do this, I feel like I'm missing out on some of the top notes - because im using such a little bit and kinda dabbing it around a bunch to get coverage with a small amount. Later in the week I'll get a sheen of it going to report back - but I kinda don't think I've missed much. For color - I guess kinda reddish brown, almost this firey earthen clay red. Not fire like smokey - like fire like it's got some energy. Lack of words

Easily top 3 oils I've ever tried. It doesn't hurt that I've been digging on Chinese oils quite a bit lately. But dang - I can't afford a bottle of this. If I win the lottery, this will be purchased for surreeeeeee.

TajOud M203 - North Chachar, Assam

I received this with M201 Nagaland and M202 Meghalaya ... both just amazing oils... so this one went bit unappreciated ...

But mind you this oil is no push over lovely incensy oil to my nose I get florals, tea, hay, chocolate, hint of coffee,

It took about 3 hours eventually for the OE to "blossom", and it was odd - sometimes it'd be quite flat and lifeless, another then it was quite vivid. 5 mins later, and back to flat.

I am now wearing Hamms & Layth by ASO. yum yum. The Hamms really does smell "barny" but with absolutely no off notes; just like a pasture

hang on

it was 2 of 3 - Hamms, Layth or Hudhayl. I think i have on Layth and Hudhayl. Guess who can't remember!
