IO Bahadur on the left,
IO Sinharaja on the right.

Bahadur was the last few drops in a sample vial,
oxidation has touched it,
but it still blooms from it’s rich composition.
Although, a tiny bit of laquer note has developed,
the Nagaland comes through with delight.

Sinharaja is bossy, with a potent scent,
and a near-clean profile.
Oudy with resin, ages well, easily a very
enjoyable Sri Lankan oil.

Zaza zen - aspects of this dry down are really nice. Every now and then I get a similarity to the dry down with super hoi Ann but only for a second. Still a great budget oil. Love laying this on heavy - one of the only oils I'll wear on my beard and chest. Performs really well since it's kinda linear and projects well

Il kadrie earlier - quite dark and musky. Was nice to keep me alert on 7 your drive to get this little fuzzy friend in NC! Ziggy - 8 weeks old and adorable.

Then some jungle from habz. Love the price on this and a really nice musk hit - so masculine and green and dark - vetiver and musk and some oud. Lovely and phenomenal projection all day long.

Today is Tian Long by LMK. This one is an absolute LOVE. Surprised the hell out of me that it is a pure Malay oil.

If someone told me this was a co-distill of wild Thai and Chinese wood, I would totally believe it.

Fruity-sweet, almost strawberry compote with a gentle bitter-woody incense smoke. Beautiful!

Ceylon Royale 1 on left - very nice. Probably one of the finest oils I own. So pretty with loads of incense and creamy vanilla. Some oceanic notes too.

Then north papua gyrinops. An oldie from IO - has the spice and bite of some of those newer malays like yasuke but with the theme of a definitive green oud oil. Really cool and unique to me!
