Wearing Siam 4K this morning

The opening almost has a fresh hay drenched in honey and spice vibe to my nose. I wasn’t expecting that. You can definitely smell the copper twang like another member noted.

Lots of beautiful candied Oud. It’s like the best parts of a Thai oil and amplified and stretched out. So much depth here. What I love about this is the way it never thins out like most Thais do in the heart. This really is a pretty oil.

I took a swipe and put a drop on my tongue and took a deep inhale of my wrist. This truly was like an explosion of color going off all around me. I’ve never had an oil elicit a synesthesia experience like this before. Not this intense anyways. My tongue went numb and I felt a deep sense of sedation much like sitting in a Hapé ceremony. The buzz reminds me of the way South American tobacco mixed with herbs and changa react when snuffed in traditional Amazonian ceremony. Mind buzz is real and it’s not just placebo or marketing. Siam 4K truly elicits an experience I’ve never felt before.

How's this compare to sk?

Also. What does the sk denote?

And can anyone detail the AA oil grading system for me?

Is it too to bottom like this?

Royal
Special K
4k

What does each of these signify? Any I'm missing?

Can you have a royal that's also a special k?

What are his too 5 most rare and sought after oils?

I’m not sure what SK means either unless is “special Kinam”

I do know that according to his description 4K denotes Kinamic like profile that he feels captures Kinam in a way worthy of that title.

His grading system is based not only on quality of wood but the quality of oil produced in the wood. It’s a bit confusing but if you asked him he’d have a much better response.

Yes you can have a Royal grade oil that’s also 4K/SK

From his description
“Yep, this is an all-out Special K oil, with its blatant and abundant overlaps with the true Kinam/Kyara scent profile.
Why I didn't include 'Special K' in the name has a very simple reason behind it.

Siam 4K was distilled from wild agarwood harvested in the province smack in the center of Thailand, Nakhon Ratchasima. "Nakhon Ratchasima Special K" on a 0.75"x0.75" sticker would look... well, ugly. And you'd need a magnifying glass to read the label.”

Which version of Oud Dhul Kifl? The original is a great oil and smells nothing like OM
Please pardon my ignorance, I didn’t realize if there were multiple versions of Dhul Kifl. I recently got a sample from Lucky Scents and it doesn’t say much about it.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.

RPP - Ipoh Strawberry
had to spend hours outside so I dapped a bit of it inside of a mask.
today it started with strawberry-flavored boozy chocolate. not much of strawberry, just the right amount that I tell it is a strawberry.
then I got neroli-ish citrusy zest twang and benzoin-y resinous sweetness.

I don't get any of the typical Malay green woody cola-ish quality from this oil. interesting...

Oud Altamsah by Habzoud. I am really digging this Malay-Borneo co-distillation! I find it really oudy, and the two components seem very complimentary. The official description says some might mistake it for a walla patta or a PNG . . . I understand that esp. for the PNG, but it's gotta be a deep deep PNG. (Sorry am having a hard time describing notes. It's just highly oudy!) Just really pleased with this oil, esp. at the price. Great job @Habz ! I shall await any of your co-distillations, whatever they will be: you've put out some wonderful ones. 🙂
