I’m a firm advocate of wearing Oud on clothing. Have you picked up on any of the herbal tea notes?
Yes! Definitely! That’s what I’m most stoked on getting on cloth. It really slows down all the stages and makes the progression more of a deliberate arc. On my skin(I run super hot) the notes fly by all at once and I basically skip straight to the heart. Now I get to see the top notes turn. It’s great.

I’m interested to hear your thoughts on Al-Janah now after getting a new look at it.

Doesn’t it leave stains on your all’s clothes? Oil even that won’t come out after washing?
I wear mostly black and dark colored clothing. Other than that I haven’t had any staining issues. If I’m wearing a collared button up I put a drop inside the collar or under the lapel along with a swipe on the cuffs. Because of my job I never wear white and if I’m not wearing all black I’m wearing floral/flannel patterns.

IO Pontiniak

Caloric smoke,
but no ash and not acrid.
There’s a hint of camphor,
some spice, woodiness,
a green jungle in the background,
and a touch of tobacco tar.

It’s like the darkness of EO Maroke Muah,
the high temp cooking of FO Thai Spice,
and the incense of EO Sultan Mujeeb.

that’s an excellent* assessment.

I also felt it shared some similarities with Hyde from Hiram Green like it’s the Oud version of that fragrance. Creamy, Smokey incense and spice. Very ouddy all the way.
