Placed a viscous swipe of LO Anokha II

Not powerful, but refined.
Honey, floral, oudy, with a touch of tea.
Then later, wood and resin.
Then later, more oudy and sweet.
Then later, less sweet, a touch citrusy,
and a bit herbal.

Throughout the ride, an incense chip vibe.

I don’t know if it’s possible to distill this oil to be louder without introducing accessory notes. I’m okay with the shy…but pristine profile.

AA Royal Myanma - the aroma profile isn't necessarily my favorite BUT the mind buzz and mind zap on this is the stronger I've ever experienced from an oil. a deep inhale reminds me of a brain freeze you get from eating too much ice cream too quickly. or at least how i remember that since i haven't had ice cream in about 8 years lol.

I also have Royal Sumatra and Royal Maluku and it seems clear Taha tells the truth when it comes to his Royal level oils, there is a distinct and clear difference to me. I can't say the same for Oriscent oils anymore, and even for the price the Royal levels are quite cheap compared to Oriscent. Of course EO has some heavy hitters as well but that seems to be mostly be a thing of the past since the last few releases from this category were pretty weak and average. I just ordered a sample of Guallam Kilam so we'll see what level that is on.
How's the scent profile in the drydown? I feel that most of his oils dry down to a citrusy sweet base for me. Without much of the resinous/woody sweetness.

Pusong Qi by Jinko Store to close the night out. It’s a cool 75°F and it just finished raining. I’m getting a heavy dose of clove, cinnamon, baking spices and an almost gourmand creamy sweetness to an already golden honey tinted oil. A perceived bitterness hides in the shadows while a Kinamic buzz floats up above. What I find interesting about this oil is that it doesn’t have that super buzzy punch in the face of top notes you’d normally find with oils of this caliber but it seems to have bass booming under it all. There’s some weight and heaviness to the profile that doesn’t feel “ethereal” so much as it does like “Resinous” which is a quality I find that a lot of higher end oils lack. Pusong Qi delivers a Royal level scent profile though and for this I’ve become obsessed. It’s comforting and hits all the pleasure centers in my brain that I could hope for.

Vietnam Wild exquisite from Aroma Sublime is crazy good. It’s getting better each time I wear it. The opening is green, floral, and drenched in scorched sugar. It’s a relatively sweet oil and pristine. In many ways it feels like a Malaysian sans the fizzy texture. The drydown though is where I got hooked. This time it’s showcasing a slight Hainan vibe where you get this creamy, musky sweet incense note.

Apparently there was some controversy surrounding the name change and addition to Tony’s business. The quality here I feel is on par with anyone else’s oils in the artisanal arena so I can’t speak on what all happened when Tony had his stroke. I’m still not certain this oil commands $220 per gram BUT I don’t know anyone else offering a solid Vietnamese oil at this price point.
Have you tried this one? https://www.etsy.com/listing/976728...00-wild-agarwood?ref=shop_home_active_4&frs=1 He doesn’t have any samples. I’m kind of a oud snob so I wonder if i will be satisfied.

Jinkoh Store’s/Marius:
Pusong Qi
Jinko Kurozato
Jinko Lokma
Vanilla Paradise

Vanilla Paradise is quite THE vanilla, tobacco, caramel-syrup topped milk-foam coffee attar I was looking for. I tried Mythique and Cohiban Coffee OE, Tabacaurum etc. but Vanilla P. has that extra thing making it stand out.
Pusong Qi and Jinko Kurozato push the boundaries.
From Pusong Qi I pick up berries, hay, cinnamon, ginger and a little anise drenched in honey. Massively vaporous top notes with that "zap" and almost a cooling effect. The base is slightly resinous, creamy milky and the notes from the opening last quite a long time. It reminded me a little of Myitkyina 4k but a lot warmer, more creamy and resinous.
As I am a little obsessed with Malays I decided to get a bottle of Jinko Kurozato along with the Pusong Qi. It opens with this burned brown sugar, blackened (but not smoky) saffrony top note paired with a blue-green-ish ethereal piercing top notes you get from lets say Blue Malay or similar Oils. Really unique and moves me quite a lot because it brings two worlds (volatile and ethereal top notes and almost gourmand caramel notes) together. The dry down on this is really dominated by creamy vanilla and a cola note with some resins and maybe a little spice.

Jinko Lokma gives me photorealistic feeling of vanilla cookie dough. So tasty I want to lick my forearm haha 😀 I also get a little warm tea notes aswell.

Great work Marius! Really awesome

Is jinkoh a brand? I can't find anything on it!

ASO Marjaan, Halawa, and Pichet’s Kelantan.
Side-by-side-by-side.
Synopsis:
Marjaan- Antique, oudy, camphorous glow, long lasting.
Halawa- Minty, woody, with a touch of tobacco and spice. Some resin and much more going on.
Kelantan- Sweet and fruity economical factory oil. Linear, with a drydown that hints of Crassna in the mix.

Jinkoh Store Emperor Guan Yu
Jinkoh Store Pusong Qi

To me, these two are the best oils Marius has put out thus far. These are both stellar. I actually prefer Pusong Qi over Guan Yu, mainly because it is more complex and has more facets going through its profile. Guan Yu is sublime but loses in the complexity department. Stays quite linear. I love the contrast of bitter green over sweet, spicy, honeyed facets in Pusong Qi. That bitter green just goes on and on, man I love it.

I’ve only tried Viet Nui Cam and Vietnam Wild Exquise

If you’re an Oud snob then you probably have your answer right there haha! These aren’t upper tier oils by any means but they are nice and distilled artisanally. I do believe they offer samples if you message them!
