Wearing and unreleased Cambodian from Habzoud this morning.

If you’ve ever lit pure Agarwood incense the initial aroma is a blast of charred resin, sweet resinous smoke and usually that classic ouddyness we associate with high quality wood. This oil captures that aroma. The initial aroma is intense smoke that quickly clears way for a whispy, Smokey incense session that allows you to feel like a walking Bahkoor session. Up close the oil smells acrid but the projection in the air smells like sweet, golden Cambodian Oud resin on charcoal. The projection and sillage are intense and provide a completely different experience than up close with your nose pressed to skin.
After about 45 minutes resinous, tamarind laced fruity tobacco and dried fruits show up while a creamy incense displays itself throughout the heart. As it closes out a gorgeous, crisp citrus oleoresin slowly fades into oblivion. Gorgeous journey of scent here and another fabulous offering from Habz!

My sample pack just needs custom clearance and I wonder if this gem was included to it
Thanks for reviewing all these oils, it really made me purchase the sample set

Searching for Kinam…..
Olefaktory’s Two Scents

I feel that the Frankincense complements the Kinam to the point that I am not sure if I’m smelling the Kinam’s sweets, or the Frank’s sweets. Drydown seems to reveal the Kinam a little bit, but it is still Frankincense dominant, rightfully so, because it’s the main ingredient.
However, it is a very enjoyable Frank.

@Taesik Yun Got my alhashimi Kakaya 2.5 ml
today faster than I can describe. He threw in a sample of Lindaraja along with my ordered sample of Hawa Jinko both .2gr
Didn't notice your review of Kakaya until after it arrived ("projection is a bit disappointing" )
LOL hope the HALAWA from ASO that I ordered is stronger. He also included frankincense and some odd strands that look like safron but must be Santal . The Hawa Jinko is pretty bad ass but well out of my price range

well to be fair, the omani royal stuff isn't exclusive to him, many vendors we have in kuwait and uae ended up with many woods, oil, blends and muthe same level of hyperbol

Somehow I doubt they approach the sale of such acquisitions with the same level of hyperbole, but I applaud the boon that the opening of the SQ treasury represented for that market.

EO Guallam kilam Initial impressions: If one were to mix Royal guallam and Ha tinh ltd, I would imagine this is how it would smell. The musk aspect of this is the most prominent aspect. From there a touch of old wood/old basement with overtones of cinnamon and a bittersweetness. Not mind blowing or piercing like many of the other oils at this tier but this only first impression and sometimes it takes days or weeks to really comprehend.

That being said, the smell is pretty weak and projection low, I have to really sniff and dig into my hand to even get aroma. I’ll keep an open mind and report back more later.

AA Malaya v2 today, thanks to BeScho 🙏:
Although I really like it a lot and I really enjoy the thickness of it, I prefer Blue Malay instead. Whereas Malaya is a really nice smell, BM hits you with an intense icey top note bliss
AA Myitkyina 4k
The sample is coming to an end, and while I think it's a beautiful oil which gives off purpley vibes, plum and dried fruits I don't regret missing out on a full bottle
Love the bitter green side of M4K, like the bitter peel of a grapefruit drenched in berries and incense.
