Second run on Kyara Di Ser...not interested in the opening at all....it's too rosewater whatever, not bad but whatever......THE DRY DOWN.....if it had a touch of violet and a touch of gardenia it would be identical to that aroma of the SS yamadamatsu in the bag. Impressed. It is extremely close to good quality green kinam room temperature. Thinking of buying some gardenia and violet oil, then leave the Kyara Di Ser bottle opened for a couple hours to lose some of those top notes and repeat until achieved, then experiment with the gardenia and the violet.....add some wild green kinam extract and throw it all in some white ambergris and let it brew for a year. So there definitely is a wild kinam in this perfume, I am guessing it is co2 and not distilled like the claim. But I wouldn't know as I never smelled wild distilled kyara oil.

I’m greeted by an enjoyable semisweet oudy cocktail with some cooling effect.
It makes me wonder “what is it I’m smelling”, woody…medicinal…oudy…a touch mentholic…a hint of tobacco? Is it a kinamic treat?
It makes me recall Al Ruba’ie.
I was mistaken the first time I smelled this, I felt I never smelled anything like this before, I actually have, Ham Firl’s Royal Brunei, and an Irian Jaya from Ensar.
Although at the surface it seems dark and incensy, just beneath the surface lies some pleasant aromas of oudh.
Modest complexity on the X and Y axis, but it has a little of the coveted Z axis🙂

I had some flyaway hairs in my beard this morning but the cream I use to tame them was finished.

Tried using some oud oil since I was applying that anyway. A little sticky and very sweet .... Hoian Kinam from the Jinkoh Store.

It controlled the fly-away hairs in my beard and is smelling awesome so far. Looking forward to this heating up as I go about my day.

The bit left on my finger from the application is so bright and full. I struggle to give a descriptive note list on this one but I smell papaya among the sweet medley. I'll try to describe my impressions in a couple of months, once they've matured.
