IO really had some fine oils…

Aamir crassna from ahom oud (was agarwood Assam then).

Serious fruity incense opening, overwhelming sweetness for a while with hints of tobacco, tons of leather, musty timber depot and floral tones similar to well aged Cambodi and Laos oils. There is the subdued sweetness which runs along the whole way, in a good way.

Namesake this is a Thai oil. Nothing playful or jammy here. Smells more Cambodi than Thai

Emperor of meghalya

How long has it been since I last wore a pure oil I cannot tell, as to why I don’t know myself but never the less eom is a lovely Hindi for this evening though, its still unbearably hot here in the uk.

When my next oil wearing will be I do not know but all that matters is now.

Nha 'vua Nha Trang from Jungle Oud. aromatic, green, cedar spice.

I've been wearing KawThaung from AlHindOud pretty much every day since I got it. His description of it is pretty spot on. I usually don't like bitter notes in my oils but the bitter wood goes nice with the sweet fruits. And the drydown is excellent.

I'm a huge fan of this vendor at the moment.

Love this one from Habzoud, I honestly have never tried an oil from Habz that I didn’t like or down right love ! This is no exception
Always giving me something to think about , now I want to give a codistillation a try!
I think I have some Malaysian and some Thai wood sitting around 😎

Some Oudimentary Cambodian premium Oudh with Mongolian musk macerated for two years.
Applied yesterday evening in the cooler temp and still radiating this morning in the cool of the early morning here in Dublin....beautiful scent that confirms to me Oudh is far more welcoming for musk maceration....

“Oudh is far more welcoming for musk maceration....”
