EO Mehmet. I got .22gms from @language scent recently and placed the smallest of dots of this oil on my forearm and it has great longevity.
Even after a wash this morning I could still get the scent pretty strongly. I am unfamiliar with this oil but it is one I am glad I have as I got a nice relaxing buzz from it....which I find unique to this oil.
Very calming...well for me. Also I had a good sleep with vivid dreams.....strange alright....might try it again tonight.

That EO Sultan Mehmet is advanced version of Oud Ertugrul (Borneo) ... A deeply addictive oil for sure

and yet, Oud Ertugrul is so much richer lol and yet everyone says that it is Mehmet that is the richer one. They are very similar but Ertugrul has this gorgeous dry down and even the kick off has a more sultan vintage borneo vibe to it. Both beautiful oils for sure.

Jumaana by Al Shareef Oudh. Absolutely regal composition. The jasmine is very forward here, very romantic, with just a hint of indolic kick. Oud and musk play a supporting role. The musk is quite floral and boosts the jasmine, while the oud is grounding - very deep and smooth from age. There is no polarization between the oud and jasmine, it's a perfectly linear and seamless transition. Will definitely be wearing this out next time!
Do you know what is the oud in it, I mean the region?

A few dots of Tigerwood 1990 from EO.
Wore this a few months a go and was not too impressed with its scent. On this wearing I am trying to find what it is I can smell. It's definitely grown on me as I don't seem to find it as medicinal as before. I went for a run wearing this and it was most pleasant.
It doesn't seem to change much and I think what I am getting is like incense notes??

I love the TW 1990 and TW Royale. May be the Royale more because I find it much sweeter.

Both very traditionally distilled, Royal is quiet floral too. Floral from the herbaceous camphoric notes.

Placed two nice size dots of Oudh Musa from EO.
It's a Nagaland distillation.(Not Malaysian as I stated earlier on this thread EDIT) I get a lovely barny type scent note that stays for quite some time. I find it very attractive and put a dot on the inside of my mask at work.
Gorgeous.
My question is this ....could anybody who has this Oudh please tell me what notes you get from this as I am not even sure if the term "Barn" is correct for this Oudh.
Help me nail down some scent please anyone.
Thank you .....🙏🙏

Interesting, I thought Oud Musa was from Nagaland, India.

You are correct @Rezwan
Was in work when I posted earlier on....it is indeed Nagaland, India.
Got mixed up.
Makes sense to me as I wanted to say it had a real Hindi scent to it but had wrote Malaysian in my post. Thanks for that.
Has anybody used Oudh Musa?

Really hot today in Northern California on the farm , so about mid day I went heavy with sandalwood oil
A gift I got a few years ago from my fellow distiller Ali in Sri Lanka. Such a great sandalwood oil!!! I love the distillers community where truth and experience are the topic of conversation and ideas and results are discussed without all the hype and pomp. No vendor mentality but an environment of sharing.
It sure would be cool to encourage more fragheads to distill oils on a hobby level to create better conversations within the community. More truth being spoken!
Just a thought brought on by the heat and the scent of a great sandalwood oil gifted by a friend
