@AlHindOud's Oud Zheng. Heavy swipe!
Interesting profile, quite unlike other Hainan oils I've tried - it's been on my skin for under half an hour and it's giving off a very sweet/thick, jammy, fruity vibe that you can get in Thai/Cambodian oils.
Sounds great. Always a nice to be surprised by a unique profile. Any fermentation notes or is it clean?
When I saw the pic AlHindOud posted of the multiple bottles flying out the door, I noticed the viscosity & colour, they even looked Thai / Cambodian.

Yes, I'd definitely classify this as clean - no barn notes to this nose! Doesn't have this typical feel that I associate to sinensis oils..hmm, it's hard to put into words what that is, exactly.

Jinkoh store - Grand emperor Tarakan
Well, I dont know how to start. This oil started with a blast of nuances. It overwhelmed me and I didnt like the openning to be honest. It was a dark green, dry, bitter, piercing and slightly sweet blast, for me it smelled like I am biting a fresh plant (this green plant taste). After a while it calms down to a green candy sweet and in the same time bitter profile. I like it more after it settles down but I am not a Fan of extreme green notes in my perfumes or ouds.
One thing for sure: it is a very complex oil and I think I have to visit it again after a while. Maybe it just didnt harmonize with my nose today.
I love this oud journey!

Fiet Nam - Viet Nam 2021 @Al Hashimi
a thing of beauty, a perfume in it's own right with a velvety smooth character and golden facets.

How do you compare it to Viet Kong from Alhashimi
They are both wonderful oils, but I find them to be quite different in spite of both being described as having almond and marzipan notes on the Al Hashimi site. I'd agree that both have those notes, but that's about all that I can pick up in similarity. I like how the Scent guru describes Fiet Nam -- definitely the brighter, more floral of the two. It's friggin' lovely! To me Viet Kong is just as lovely but in an entirely different manner. Someone more adept at describing scents will do a better job of labeling those initial notes, but to me I detect that barn which is not funky in Viet Kong. It's that initial note that lets you know that if you hold on and keep exploring you're about to be treated to something rich and grand. I find it a little darker and chewier. I'm smelling them both as I type this out and was just starting to pick up some dried fruits in Viet Kong (sure enough on Al Hashimi's site they note dried mango and pineapple -- I think I'm starting to get the hang of this!), while the Fiet Nam is only now starting to give me floral/marzipan. Of the two, Fiet Nam would be safer for me to wear around my wife and friends, but Viet Kong to me is a little more interesting as it opens up over time. Both are pretty thick oils and a real treat.

I haven’t tried Fiet Nam

Viet Kong is definitely dark. I agree a non funky barn, dried fruit. Borderline Hindi oil attributes. Also it takes a while to build. It starts out quiet.

The Oud Lab - Hutan Hijau for a Sunday family gathering.

One of the best Malaysian oils I own, very unique also.
An explosion of bright, terpenic, green apple, sinensis top notes. After 30 mins or so, the high pitched terpenes remain, yet it becomes darker into the middle notes, more mossy green. Earthy, but not dirty. Tropical yellow florals.
A glorious base reveals itself, wild high grade Malaccensis resin, fruity date / tamarind, honeyed, balsamic & rich.

A clean, colourful & complex oil.

Oudbar - Koh Rong
Starts piercing medicinal with a red background, the red berries and apples find their way to shine but this airy, medicinal nuance stays in the background and some green herbs join the heart note. Drydown is sweet red tea with honey. Delicious but the medicinal and herbal notes in combination make it difficult to wear this on a daily basis for me.

Agar Aura Myitkyina 4K
Ensar Oud Guallam Kilam

GK is such a beautiful Viet oil that doesn't get talked about much. It has such a beautiful profile. Very sawdusty, powdery, and vanillic. A tinge of green bitterness, but sawdusty vanillic at the core. Incredibly soothing oil.
Myitkyina 4K is just an amazing oil overall. Very complex and constantly changing.

Yesterday was King Koh Kong, Agar Aura. Unlike any other oil I've tried. A bit of mellow red fruit and pine and incense in the beginning. With time the incense -- frankincense -- comes to dominate with an undercurrent of resinous oudiness. This little description certainly does not account for the entire olfactory experience, I need to wear it some more to really wrap my head around it! What I can say for now is: great oil!

Today it's Aku Akira, Ensar Oud. Needed a classic Hindi-style today. 🙂
Hie I have something to ask , Can you share your Mail/any other contact medium !
