Tuli by Craftoud
At the moment the best new gen hindi which does not behave like an hindi. Sweet creamy floral tea 0 barn clean where u can be thinking this is a chinese or hainanese oud because almost more than halfway the leathery aspect of hindi only surface and that is also a very clean one....

Until my emperor of meghalaya arrives, this remain my favourite hindi

CraftOud definitely puts out nice oils and is a good vendor to deal with. I got a sample of Tuli with my last order and even though it is mostly gone I still smell the bottle almost everyday. Which reminds me I need to place another order soon! If you enjoy that oil you will probably like Hindi Gold from AlHindOud. It's another quality clean hindi.

Cyclops - Rising Phoenix

I can’t stress enough just how good these Papuan/southeast asian oils are coming out of JK’s new distillation operation in Indonesia.

This oil is made using incense-grade aquilaria filaria chips and the quality of the raw materials is apparent! Upon first swipe, this reminds me of a downpour in the forest with a light cooling freshness that tickles the nose. It’s pretty light in that aspect and I hate to use the word kinamic for something that isn’t technically kinam but it does have that cooling note that I personally love in an oud. This opening is like the clash of fresh air, and humid jungle.

Behind all of the freshness there is a subtle toasted note that smells a bit smokey but is ultimately a “warm” tone to my nose that balances out the cooling freshness. As time goes on, this note grows in its prominence and, from it, emerges the next layer in the “scentscape”. Florals, and some heated beeswax make up the next layer with a sweet spiciness reminiscent of cloves. On its very last legs it reminds me of a sinensis oil with a bit of soapiness and that fresh air scent that reminds me of freshly washed clothes after they have been hung outside to dry.

It’s kind of hard to do this oil justice in a review. It goes pretty deep. I can take a long sniff, exhale and still have the scent lingering in my mind. These latest Papuan oils produced by JK are the clear result of a master of the olfactory arts with a hunger and drive to create new “scentscapes” whether it be his attars, sandalwood oils, or oud oils… look forward to my next wear and review!

So I swiped @mesOUD Sumbawa black on one arm and Sumbawa seufi on the other! Two different oils, two different aromas.
These two oils are such great oils! Sumbawa black is tarry, leathery, dark and old like an ancient being!
Sumbawa seufi has so many transitions, it's like a mukhallat of many ouds!
Great stuff!
Brother very happy to see oils in

Brother It's an amazing feeling to see oils in hands that know their true value.

Hindi Gangaridai from Rising Phoenix

Just received my order of 1g of this oil.

Very interesting. Definitely a very potent oil. The opening is a very strong barnyard which mellows out rather quickly but is still present. Hay and Tea notes as well as a strong Blue Cheese smell. After a while it feels like the blue cheese smoothes out and retains a slightly sweet medicinal scent.

I am a fan of the Hindi fermented qualities but obviously it is not for everyone.

Glad to have this in my collection, excited to explore more new Oud oils.

Could you provide more info about this one? Very curious about it and thinking of purchasing it next.
I don't think I can provide much more info than what is on the website but I just think it's really good. I don't know how to describe the scent and I don't know what to compare it to. If you are in the United States I could sell you a decant, or I can sell the remainder of my bottle.

Anyways it's a great oil and I don't think you will be disappointed if you buy a full bottle blind.

I bought 3g of this.. fermented cultivated cambodi, very different from the fruity opening... instead i got sourish 0 barn fermented opening and behind it is sticky sweet overipe jackfruit scent, after that it slowly turn into sourish incense, from here i picked up some similarity with my viet oil from Jungle Oud.

Thanks for the description. Are you enjoying it? Would you recommend?
