Ok, I want to admit that, Hainan by Fushigi is growing on me, lolDouble swipe(actually tiny dots) of Fushigi.
Papua on the left and Hainan on the right.
😁
Agreed! Things can definitely change. I didn’t really like papua at first but now I really like it.Ok, I want to admit that, Hainan by Fushigi is growing on me, lol
It's crazy how our perceptions to things change with time.
so, Brunei Kyere and Hainan is the way to go : )
Yes, Levent is awesome 💯 and it will be interesting how it develops as it ages.Both phenomenal oils ! If you love these you gotta try Levent.
Tried my sample of this after just reading your comment. "Piercing" is such a good word for a lot of ouds but absolutely sits with this one.Yes, Levent is awesome 💯 and it will be interesting how it develops as it ages.
Today:
Lao Gold 2 by AlHind Oud.
Beautiful golden green sinensis. Clean, pristine and piercing. I love that berry like opening that reminds me of Pusong Qi. Golden honey dipped vanilla incense. A very fine Lao oil.
Brother i think this Oud is from another vendor, ive not released a oil with this name.Habzoud - Oud Qaysar Thought I'd give this a go as we're having an unseasonably warm and humid day today. I'm generally unfamiliar with the Hindi profile. This will take some getting used to I admit. Very sharp barn note. I'm reminded of @Escentually using the term of Gorilla shit with these super smelly ones. This isn't to be assumed this is a negative thing because it isn't, just an unfamiliar one to me. Not sure it's my thing but we'll see.

Well that's embarrassing. My apologies.😳Brother i think this Oud is from another vendor, ive not released a oil with this name.
I did yes. Oops.🥴I think you mean @Al-Hind Oud ?
You're going fast lad. I have been doing the same with Cambodi's lately. And woods... ohh thats different lol. Ive been the same with my Cambodis lol@YusaAromatics - Leyte Kukyoku
@YusaAromatics - Ceylon KO
Starting off the new samples with Leyte Kukyoku last night. Didn’t get to pay attention too much, but the opening was strongly reminiscent of Levent. So much so that I would believe they could come from the same tree. kukyoku had all the similar sulfuric gassy notes overlapped with the creamy oceanic florals that I got from Levent, just turned down a notch. Will have to do a side by side swiping of both of these soon.
This morning swiped on some Ceylon KO. Oh boy this one is yummy! It very briefly opens with a ashtray left out in the rain type of note. About 10 minutes until it’s shifting to a bitter mango and aquatic gasoline note. Strong strong silani gas with tropical fruits, ethereal. I went from having 1 silani in the collection to 4 overnight, so going to be quite fun comparing all of these.
